Ghost of Freepers, those pictures say a lot, don’t they. :(

I honestly don’t understand how any sane parent can keep their kids in a public school anymore.

Here is what’s going on in California (or Calipornia as the writer in the article said so well:)

This isn’t funny, especially when you consider that, beginning this January, public school teachers in California will be teaching, not just homosexuality, but also transsexualism, cross-dressing and the like - to kindergarteners.

Coming....to a public school near you.

The joke’s on the public school parents who are duped.

Designer, the reality is that it only takes a certain number of parents, immediately pulling their kids out of the public schools, to cause the system to implode, allowing market forces to kick in.

The alternative is to allow millions of kids to continue being indoctrinated into good little government sucking socialists.

The system cannot be rehabilitated. It’s finished.

    Here’s the evidence:

If we want more children to grow into people like Ron Paul, then EXIT THE GOVERNMENT SCHOOLS! Ron Paul wants to abolish the Dept. of Education. Home schooling makes the best sense, but private school is an alternative - just GET THE POOR KIDS OUT OF THE SOCIALIST PRISONS called public schools.

(I’m not meaning to yell, btw. I’m just using all caps for emphasis.)

Thanks, Designer, for your response to my question.

Here’s how I view things: One important way to lastingly correct the course this country is taking is for every parent to pull the kids from public schools immediately.

While electing someone like Ron Paul is an intelligent, beneficial thing to do, we really fool ourselves if we support Ron Paul, but leave our kids in public schools that are rapidly turning them into good little socialist robots.

Socialist robots get rid of leaders who won’t give them freebies.

If you think a few minutes each evening and an hour on Sunday is going to keep your child a real American, think again. 85% of Christian kids are losing their faith by the time they graduate high school. Only 2% of homeschooled kids make that kind of decision.

That means 98% of homeschooled kids are keeping their faith, along with excelling academically and socially. And if you’re voting for Ron Paul, keep in mind that he supports your freedom to home educate. It’s time to exit the public schools.

I’m partially with you on that, EEE.

Does Ron Paul realize that Islamic Fundies hate Christians and Jews, calling them infidels? They want us all dead because we don’t follow Islam and honor Allah.

I hear Paul say they’re upset because we’ve bothered their bee hive. Does he think we were supposed to do nothing when 911 happened?

That’s my main disconnect with Paul, but maybe I just haven’t heard him address that fully yet.

I’m noticing lots of Californians sending money in right now.

Do you think it could have anything to do with their wanting to do away with public schools over there?

Afterall, the governor just signed into law SB 777 where even kindergarteners will be force-fed positive portrayals of transvestites, transsexuals, homosexuals, etc.

Imagine helping your kid with THAT kind of homework....

Who’s Mark Sanford of SC? Never heard of him. I’m sure he’d be great since you recommended him, but....

We need to get Paul in there with his tough stance on certain issues, along with Huckabee with his ability to strongly sway Values Voters - and Hitlery won’t stand a chance.

No. He does not support amnesty. He opposed the amnesty bill that was defeated by the Senate in June. PUBLIC RECORD. A “nanny statist” would not hold the same positions that Huckabee does. Read through the link below.

Here is his position - QUOTE:

“I opposed the amnesty bill that was defeated by the Senate in June. I support the $3 billion that Congress recently appropriated for border security. These funds will be used to train and deploy 23,000 more agents, add four drone airplanes, build 700 miles of fence and 300 miles of vehicle barriers, and erect 105 radar and camera towers. They will be used to end “catch and release” by providing money to “catch and detain” those caught entering illegally and to crack down on those who enter legally, but overstay their visas. These border security provisions will stem the tide of illegals, which is what we must do before we can turn the tide and deal with those who are already here. Before you fix the damage in your house caused by a leaking roof, you stop the leak, which is what this legislation will do.”

Dano1 and dschapin, you’re right that a lot of information being handed out on this thread is skewed. It’s going to be a real tragedy if people vote according to their opinions, rather than the facts.

Both Bill Clinton and Newt Gingrich said that Huckabee is the most likely Republican candidate to win IF he can get enough funding to go forward. It would be a tragedy if voters continue being uneducated on this prospective nominee’s TRUE stands, and we lose this election.

Are most people here interested in the TRUTH at all?

According to the most historically accurate polling firm Rasmussen: Mike Huckabee is only 8 points behind Hillary and 9 points behind Obama.

Only one president came directly from the U.S. House – James Garfield – and that was 128 years ago. Only two people went directly from the Senate to the White House: Warren Harding (1920) and John F. Kennedy (1960). Four out of five of the last presidents were governors, and only one governor meets the life/marriage standard: Mike Huckabee.”

Rasmussin, Clinton, and Gingrich all agree: Huckabee can win. It can happen, but voters have to take time to educate themselves and stop swallowing the liberal mainstream media swill.

As Janet Folger said: “For everyone who is clamoring about the importance of money, keep in mind Huckabee came in second in Iowa at five cents on the dollar of what Romney spent to win. Newt Gingrich said on the same ABC program: “If Huckabee can find money, he will be dramatically competitive almost overnight.” NOW QUIT CLAMORING AND WRITE THE GUY A CHECK.”

When 28 million evangelical Christians sat home in 2006, we handed the keys of power in Congress to those who hate us. (Btw, the last I heard - Christians are still allowed to vote and run for office in this country. Afterall, half of those who signed the Declaration of Independence were Christian ministers.)

What’s at stake in this election is whether partial-birth abortion is performed on your 12-year-old daughter without your knowledge or consent. It’s the loss of your freedom to homeschool your kids. It’s the 2nd Amendment right to bear arms. It’s your freedom to speak out on issues of importance to you without being persecuted for hate speech. It’s the privilege of continuing to hear conservative talk radio without having the Fairness Doctrine shoved down your throat. The very sovereignty of America hangs on this election, because if a Democrat wins and we get a Democrat majority in both houses, you can welcome international treaties to trump our Constitution. You then lose your parental rights through the U.N. Convention on the Rights of the Child. You lose property rights through other U.N. treaties aiming for America.

Choose Thompson, Guiliani, Romney, or McCain – and you welcome socialist Hillary or Obama into the White House to give you the nightmare above. America will be changed forever for the worse.

Educate yourselves please...FOR THE SAKE OF THIS COUNTRY!

Has anyone on this thread gone to Huckabee’s website to actually read his stands on issues like immigration? I’m amazed that intelligent Freepers would so easily buy into liberal mainstream articles about a conservative candidate running for the nomination. He’s a Christian so of course his stands are going to be slanted in the media. Some here need to do their homework.

Here are Huckabee’s views on immigration:

    http://www.mikehuckabee.com/index.cfm?FuseAction=Issues.View&Issue_id=4

“THOSE WHO ARE CAUGHT TRYING TO ENTER ILLEGALLY MUST BE DETAINED, PROCESSED, AND DEPORTED. ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS WHO ARE ALREADY LIVING AMONG US AND COMMIT CRIMES MUST BE PROSECUTED TO THE FULL EXTENT OF THE LAW AND INCARCERATED OR DEPORTED.”

You can read the rest at the site. Get it from the horse’s mouth and stop trusting the MSM so much.
