I cannot believe I missed my own anniversary. I joined FR 22 years ago, during the height of the Clinton Impeachment. So many great memories. I'm having the first of three needed surgeries today and am leaving for the outpatient surgery facility in about an hour. Two surgeries are to correct circulation issues I've been having and the third is to correct an irregular heartbeat condition I can no longer ignore as it's affecting my quality of life and requires an ablation. None of these are life threatening by any stretch of the imagination and still I worry (because that's what I do better than anything ....) about having them. May I ask for some prayers that I remain calm and don't panic/freak out today?...

Today I lost my companion of 13 years. He was in early onset kidney failure back in January. He'd been on medication to manage it and seemed to be doing fine. He was eating, sleeping, drinking water, playing, etc.. This morning he urinated almost all blood and I rushed to the vet and was informed his kidneys were deteriorating and it was just a matter of time now. Third time in this week Comcast's DNS is messing up big time. First they blamed Century One earlier this week then their connectivity to CL's backbone was experiencing issues, now Comcrap is blaming "local service outages."
