The Democracy Institute, a politically independent public policy research organization, published a poll on Monday showing Donald Trump leading Hillary Clinton by five points. Democracy Institute was the only public poll to correctly predict Brexit, according to the organization’s press release. In the survey conducted Nov. 3 to Nov. 6 with 1,390 likely voters, Trump leads Clinton 50 percent to 45 percent. The results have a 2.5 percent margin of error.

It is becoming increasingly possible for there to be a tie in the Electoral College with each candidate winning 269 electoral votes. In that case, Trump would win since, in the House, the Republican Party controls 33 state delegations and each state has one vote regardless of how many Congressmen it has. Here’s how it could happen: • Start with Trump winning all of the states Romney won, including North Carolina — which now appears likely. That’s 206 votes. • Then, add in Trump wins in Ohio and Iowa where he is and has been ahead. That’s 230. • Then,...

Trump is gaining in Michigan partly because many African-American voters — especially younger voters who backed Sen. Bernie Saunders — distrust Clinton, said Wayne Bradley, state director of African-American engagement for the Michigan Republican Party. “There is a tremendous trust deficit with Hillary Clinton” because tough anti-crime laws established when her husband was president in the 1990s, he said. That distrust has helped cause a sharp drop in the number of absentee ballots mailed in from Detroit, even as other part of the state send in more ballots that before, Bradley said. Faced with a low turnout, the Clinton campaign...

We ask voters what the chance is that they will vote for Trump, Clinton or someone else, using a 0-100 scale. The overall level of support for each candidate reflects the weighted average of those responses.

The latest Breitbart/Gravis poll shows Republican Donald Trump holds a slight lead in New Hampshire over his Democratic presidential rival Hillary Clinton. Trump is at 43 percent to Clinton’s 41 percent, according to the poll conducted Nov. 1 and Nov. 2 with 1,001 registered voters.

NEW YORK CITY, New York — Republican presidential nominee Donald J. Trump has now taken a commanding lead in the latest surveys out of New Hampshire and North Carolina as his pathway to the White House grows by the hour in the final week. An ARG poll out of New Hampshire, conducted from Oct. 31 through Nov. 2, shows Trump with a comfortable five point lead in the Granite State—outside the survey’s four percent margin of error. Trump, at 48 percent, leads Clinton who lags at 43 percent. Libertarian Gary Johnson got four percent and the Green Party’s Dr. Jill...

A new Michigan poll shows that Donald Trump is only one point behind Hillary Clinton in the battleground state, according to a 500-person likely-voter poll conducted by a GOP polling firm. The poll records Clinton’s support at 45 percent, while Trump’s support has climbed to 44 percent. Libertarian Gary Johnson is at 5 percent, and Green Party’s Jill Stein is at 2 percent. The poll was conducted Oct. 29 to Oct. 30 It is either an outlier or an early warning of a Trump surge in the critical state, whose 16 Electoral Votes could provide a path to the White...

I watched the debate, and felt it was unlikely to move the needle in any direction. Contrary to what idiots on TV are saying, I thought the first segment was Trump's weakest. Mainly because she nailed him on the tax returns. He had no good answer there, and it showed. He did get more irate in the second two, but he landed solid blows. Law and order. He mentioned the thousands dead in black locales, and she says everything is fine and vibrant? What was she thinking? The third section was close to a tie, but I think Trump won...

Yes, he is a milquestoast moderate. Undoubtedly. However, Trump needs to balance the ticket a little bit. He is tough and fulfills the role of a populist firebrand, he is effectively the attack dog, so who does he need for VP? Trump needs someone who will fulfill the following criteria to complement him: 1) A record that can't be attacked. Hillary can't run grandma ads against Kasich. He actually has one of the best governor's records on paper in the country, hence his sky high approval ratings in Ohio. He would come out on top in a debate with Julian...

Kasich - A His best debate by far, the man was on fire. Stayed above the fray. This was a great performance, and you should expect Kasich to come second in Michigan. Cruz - B Stock performance for Cruz. Would be a B+, but eating a booger live on stage is never good Trump - B- It was better than his previous performance, but with everyone ambushing him, especially Chris Wallace, who works for Karl Rove, there was little chance of leaving unscathed. Largely however, he was attacked on issues nobody cares about. Trump University. yawn! Rubio - F What...

Trump needs to win 1,237 delegates to secure the Republican nomination, and with four other candidates vying for the same, University of New Orleans political scientist Edward Chervenak said the state's primary is particularly important this year. “With Cruz, Rubio, Carson and Kasich still in the race, they’re basically taking delegates away from (Trump). So every delegate now counts and is at stake. That’s why Trump is coming here, because he wants to do well in Louisiana,” Chervenak said. I have been watching this race very closely, from the sidelines. The time has come to go ALL IN for Donald Trump. This is a man who could destroy the left in the same way Pinochet did. Ooooh, he has an enemy's list! Well, good. This country has ENEMIES, fifth columnists inside undermining us every day. The Christie LePage endorsements show that the party is ready to unite around the frontrunner. A word on the other two guys: Rubio: This guy is a SNAKE. I never liked him from the start, and now I know. He is the shamnesty wonderboy,...

On Tuesday, talk radio host Glenn Beck accused the Tea Party supporters of GOP presidential candidate Donald Trump of being racists. While he questioned whether Trump’s supporters are genuine Tea Partiers, Beck said of them, “If you were a Tea Party person, then you were lying. You were lying. It was about Barack Obama being black. It was about him being a Democrat.” Although he later identified fellow talk show host Sean Hannity as a Tea Party supporter who thinks Trump is “a great guy,” Beck said that he simply disagrees with Hannity about Trump. Beck’s comments came as part...

Debate Winners: Trump - because they went after him, this horrendously backfired and he benefited Cruz - Came across well, looked the most competent Carson - Understated, he appeared very genuine and connected Fox News - Ratings through the roof Chris Christie - Didn't win much, but performed better than the other establishment stooges. Marco Rubio - May benefit mildly from the massive pimping job performed by the Fox crew. Debate Losers: Rand Paul - Completely bombed. Somehow got bested by Blimp Christie, attacks on Trump fell as flat as the hosts'. His campaign is finished. Scott Walker - WHERE...

The presidential primary season is about to heat up, and this is our LAST chance to save America, the country of the Founders. If we fail this time, its over. There is one candidate on the Republican side who will lose to Hillary no matter what. His name? JEB STINKING BUSH!

Militants of the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) seized a university in the Libyan city of Sirte, a faculty member and residents said, days after a video showed them staging a convoy parade. Islamist militants have made inroads into parts of the North African oil-producing country, exploiting a power vacuum created by a violent struggle for control between two competing governments. An Iraqi tribal leader said Saturday that ISIS militants are gaining ground in Anbar province, predicting a "collapse within hours" of Iraqi army forces there if tribal forces withdraw. Sheikh Naim al-Gaoud, a Sunni Muslim leader of the Albu Nimr tribe, called for more U.S. intervention -- including ground troops, arming tribes directly or at least pressuring the Iraqi government to give the tribes more firepower. While U.S. officials have said that ISIS, which calls itself the Islamic State, is on the defensive in Iraq and Syria, al-Gaoud says that's definitely not the case where he is. "In Anbar, we...
