An east-end Montreal college is gaining a reputation as a breeding ground for jihadis after four of its students were arrested at the airport Friday, allegedly on the verge of taking off to join an overseas terror group. The latest arrests bring to 11 the number of Collège Maisonneuve students who since January have either left to join jihadi groups overseas or have been arrested on suspicion of planning to leave. The four were among 10 students from various CEGEPS — post-secondary institutions unique to Quebec — and high schools arrested at Pierre Elliott Trudeau Airport Friday, the college confirmed....

The Royal Canadian Mounted Police arrested a group of young Montrealers on Friday on suspicion they were planning to travel to Turkey and then Syria to join jihadi fighters, Radio-Canada is reporting. Ten youths, who were arrested at the Pierre Elliott Trudeau Airport, were questioned and then released without being charged. All had their passports confiscated ... A U.S. Spanish-language news network that lobbied Hillary Clinton’s State Department on U.S. policies toward Mexico reported on those policies without disclosing its lobbying expenditures and is covering the U.S. presidential election without informing views of its company’s donations to the Clinton Foundation. Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton received nearly a quarter of a million dollars last year for a speaking engagement on behalf of Academic Partnerships, a for-profit education company in which Jeb Bush held an ownership stake and on whose board he served. Clinton’s newly filed personal financial disclosure shows that she was paid $225,500 on March 24, 2014 by Academic Partnerships. Big labor funneled millions of dollars in dues money to the Clinton Foundation, according to a new report. The National Institute for Labor Relations Research (NILRR), a union watchdog group, traced at least $2 million in donations from multiple union organizations and affiliates. “U.S. Department of Labor’s union financial disclosure reports reveal that Big Labor gave at least $2,034,500 in union general treasury funds to Clinton Foundations. After a drunken game of Monopoly went awry, a woman picked up a planter and belted her male opponent in the head, say Saskatchewan police. RCMP officers arrested both of them in North Battleford, Sask. after receiving a 911 call at 3:44 a.m. Wednesday morning.
