The first College Football Playoff ranking of the season has Ohio State debuting at No. 1 for the first time ever in the Playoff era and defending national champion Clemson on the outside looking in at No. 5. The Buckeyes are followed by No. 2 LSU and No. 3 Alabama, who have been ranked either first or second in the AP Poll for the last four weeks and will face each other in a blockbuster matchup on Saturday in Tuscaloosa.

The defending national champion Clemson Tigers start the season the way they finished in January -- atop the Amway Coaches Poll. The Tigers received 59 of 65 first-place votes in the poll, released Thursday, giving them the top spot in the preseason coaches ranking for the first time in school history. No. 2 Alabama received the other first-place votes. The 1-2 ranking for Clemson and Alabama comes as little surprise heading into the season, as both teams are favorites to make it back to the College Football Playoff, with the potential to meet for the fifth straight time in the...

AOC hit the ground screaming when she arrived at the El Paso Station Justice Democrats NY Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (AOC), and her activist sistahs, Minnesota Rep. Ilhan (Marry-your-Brother) Omar and Michigan Rep. expletive-hurling Rashida Tlaib have moved into their own Hoax Huckster Fabrication Factory. The Hoax Hucksters are now sending out hype and lies—coming straight out of the toilet. All three are well-tooled in the dirty art of socialist activism, but AOC, putting into use her casting call background, is the leader of the screaming jackal pack.
  • Expect Clemson-Alabama IV To Produce Points In Bunches (National Football Championship, 1-7-2019)

Alabama's offense has scored more points than ever for a myriad of reasons. Tua Tagovailoa had the best statistical season for a Crimson Tide quarterback, thanks in part to the best set of skill-position players the program has ever collected. But perhaps the biggest reason is Nick Saban's willingness to get more aggressive passing the ball. "We may have to score more points to win this season than we have in the past," Saban told ESPN's Chris Lowe before the season. As Alabama prepares to face Clemson on Monday to determine this season's national championship, Saban's inkling has proven to...

GLENDALE, Ariz. -- A few UCF players responded with tears. Others with silence. And still more with looks of satisfaction. The scene in the Knights' locker room offered a full range of emotions Tuesday after their 40-32 loss to LSU in the PlayStation Fiesta Bowl that snapped a 25-game winning streak for the upstart out of the American Athletic Conference. "I'm proud of these guys for the way we came out to play with LSU," linebacker Nate Evans said. "I mean, it's LSU, a team we should never be on the field with, according to higher people." ….. "Our team...

Still not officially confirmed by the White House, there are still several reports indicating President Donald Trump will attend the Alabama-Georgia CFP national championship game Monday in Atlanta. To say that appearance is rare would be an understatement. Outside of traditional visits to the Army-Navy game, sitting presidents aren't known for attending college football games. The national championship game? Even further from the norm. Alabama players had a variety of reactions to the news. "It's pretty cool," said offensive lineman Ross Pierschbacher. "I'd be interested see where he's sitting. It's just cool to think that of all the people who...

It's Championship Saturday! One game is in the books at Oklahoma blew out TCU, 41-17. That put the Sooners in the playoff and officially eliminated TCU. That leaves as many as eight teams that could have a case to be included in the playoff's last three spots depending on how the last three major conference championship games play out on Saturday. But in reality, there are five teams that still control their own destiny. Outside of those teams, there are two teams that could have strong cases, including Alabama, who needs some help, and one team that would likely need...

Back during the 2008 presidential campaign a lot of conservatives predicted that if Obama were elected president his administration would amount to Jimmy Carter’s second term. Little did anyone at the time realize just how prescient those predictions turned out to be. After all, it was Jimmy Carter that enabled Islamic fundamentalism to take root in Iran through his support in deposing Shah Mohammad Reza Pahlavi. It’s very likely true that the Shah was a son-of-a-gun that established SAVAK, a secret police force that brutally suppressed any political opposition against the regime. But in point of fact, he was our...

Christian Psychiatrist M. Scott Peck (1936 – 2005) wrote the definitive book on Barack Hussein Obama in 1983, although, of course, he never met him or mentioned him. The title of Peck’s book is “The People of the Lie: The Hope for Healing Human Evil.” While Dr. Peck is more widely known for “The Road Less Travelled,” his “The People of the Lie” remains one of the most important scientific contributions to the study of the origins of evil. Dr. Peck connected evil people directly with the bane of malignant narcissism. To him, the evil are “the people of the...
  • Staged crisis leading to suspended elections could happen on our watch

The closer America gets to Election Day, the more some worry about the possibility of there not being one. Obama is smiling all the way through the polls, and it may not merely be whistling past the cemetery this time. The fear of Obama suspending elections came long before the presidential election campaign officially began. It was almost one year ago when North Carolina Governor Bev Perdue made suspended elections an idea whose time has come. “I think we ought to suspend, perhaps, elections for Congress for two years and just tell them we won’t hold it against them, whatever...

In 1832, the threat of nullification by States that opposed tariffs on imported goods came close to bringing about a civil war. Thirty years later as cries for the abolition of slavery reached a fever pitch the War Between the States would begin. Today, in the wake of the Supreme Court decision that found that the Affordable Health Care Act—Obamacare— is constitutional and thereby the law of the land. Republican Governors are lining up to say they will not obey it. Not only has President Obama and the Democrat Party imposed an enormously unpopular law on the nation, they have...

Tomorrow’s “Day of Rage” in cities across the United States is doomed for certain failure because “Day of Rage” won’t resonate with average people. “Bring your own tent!” is the message sent out to protesters on the social networks. Recession-bound people, some of whom are trying to move their families in with relatives, live in cars and sleep on park benches, not tents. The poor forced to take to tents are not paid the least bit of attention by George Soros, and no one pays them to shout lofty chants like “Eat the Rich!” while standing around on Manhattan sidewalks....

Internet web sites, pundits, bloggers, commentators and denizens of the “alternative media” who are critical of Barack Hussein Obama beware, as you will now be “officially” in the crosshairs of the Obama White House. As part of his 2012 re-election campaign, the Obama administration this week created an “online rapid response team” tasked specifically with quashing any Internet articles and news critical of Obama. This team is headed by Internet guru Jesse C. LEE, 31 of Tacoma Park, Maryland, who was named the “Director of Progressive Media & Online Response.” Unsurprisingly, this is the first administration in history to ever...

First let me offer my heartiest congratulations and kudos to our northern neighbors on the almost total obliteration of the liberals in their political offices. May we here in the United States be as fortunate in November, 2012. I’m sorry, America, but I can’t join in the celebration of Osama bin Laden’s demise. It’s not that I am not happy this villain is dead, it’s just that I don’t want to honor the lies that our disgraceful snippet of a deluded leader is slavering all over anyone foolish enough to listen. He is making it sound as if HE planned...

White House senior adviser to Obama, David Plouffe, stated two fascinating political mumblings today. First, that the American public would never hire Donald Trump to the job [President]. And that Mr. Trump’s use of the birth certificate issue is a ‘sideshow’. GAME ON! I can not think of a dumber way to respond to the possible (hopefully probable) entry of Donald Trump as a candidate for President of the United States of America. This guy, Plouffe, was just recently brought onto the Obama’s staff with the greatest fanfare as a ‘political killer’. I guess they were correct in the assessment....

There are five stages in the grieving process from Denial to Acceptance. American liberals are now moving through their own five stages of dealing with the decline and fall of the myth of Obama. The last time they had invested this much in a politician was the Kennedy Administration, yet there is no assassin’s bullet to explain the fall of Camelot for them here. Instead they have to come to terms with the reality of Obama’s failure.

On CNN’s “Reliable Sources” show on Sunday, host Howard Kurtz asked, “One major question about the assault on Libya, what happened to the media’s skepticism?” He’s right, but his comparison to the war in Iraq was wrong. The correct parallel is President Bill Clinton’s illegal and unconstitutional military intervention in the civil war in Kosovo, then a province of Serbia. Serbia, like Libya today, did not present a threat to the U.S., but in both cases Democratic presidents went to war with those nations anyway, in order to strengthen international organizations. What the media are missing is the fact that...

Something changed profoundly in the aftermath of the Arizona tragedy; a sea change that should have the lib-left and their running dog mainstream media in an utter panic. Democrats are learning the hard way that Rahm Emanuel’s famous pronouncement, “Never let a crisis go to waste” does not include getting away with blaming the mass murder of a deranged killer on the Tea Party and Talk Radio. It will not be tolerated by the masses who recognize straight off that there is no decency in exploiting the deaths of six innocents and the wounding of 14 others, including a representative...

The drivel the media are blathering about Obama’s 2012 race for reelection is absolute baloney! All those talking heads and print [so-called] journalists should be ashamed of themselves for prattling on about this unserious subject while studiously avoiding the urgent issues that threaten the very life of our country. These are issues that a maniacal Nancy Pelosi, as House Minority Leader in the lame-duck session, is intent on cramming down the already-gagging throats of American voters who loathe her fetish with Marxism so much that on November 2 they decisively returned the House she had appropriated back to We the...
