Tina Mason believes CTE, or chronic traumatic encephalopathy, has caused her son's erratic behavior. An FBI-led SWAT team arrested the leader of a Louisiana militia Thursday morning (Aug. 25) in Mandeville on federal charges of dealing methamphetamine and possessing a firearm "in furtherance of a drug-trafficking crime," according to the U.S Attorney's Office in New Orleans. James Moore, 46, of Talisheek, a small St. Tammany Parish community near the Mississippi border, reportedly came to the attention of federal authorities during an FBI Domestic Terrorism investigation. A Nevada Highway Patrol trooper was struck by a bullet and a suspect was killed after an exchange of gunfire early this morning in the southeast Las Vegas Valley. The trooper pulled over a vehicle with three people shortly after midnight near U.S. 95 and Boulder Highway, according to investigators.
