May 4, 2005 — The FBI has stepped up the search for fugitive mobster Joey ''the Clown'' Lombardo. A federal judge received a letter Tuesday written by Lombardo that outlined his terms for surrender. The judge rejected them. The I-Team learned Wednesday that scientists at the FBI lab in Quantico, Virginia, are examining the manifesto that Lombardo supposedly handwrote for District Judge James Zagel. It has been nine days since the outfit capo was indicted, but at least Lombardo has communicated with authorities.
