With just a few clicks you could be saving big on everything you need to buy from Amazon. It's really that easy. With inflation rising high, odds are you're looking for the best deal on all of your purchases to help make your dollar stretch a little farther. Some of your daily purchases may be necessities while others are nice-to-haves, and while your necessities take priority that doesn't mean you need to completely cut out everything else. Amazon sells hundreds of thousands of products at all different price points, some of which are on sale and some are not. Wouldn't...

The scope of the fraud that Lori Ann Talens, 41, masterminded was so “staggering” that the massive sum of her theft was a “conservative estimate,” according to information released by the FBI last week. “She had coupons for $24.99 off a $25 box of diapers. And it would work,” said Postal Inspector Jason Thomasson. “And you’d have people walking out the door with those diapers for almost nothing.” Talens’ husband, Pacifico Talens Jr., 43, was also sentenced to seven months in prison, according to the release.

Not sure if this a company wide policy or a store policy for the store I was at. Standing in line a gal with her 2 kids was checking out. didn't think much of it. She presents her coupons and a target 5% off card from the pharmacy rewards.. what the cashier said after that floored me. "I'm sorry. You can't use these with a ebt card" She had 40 dollars worth of discounts. At this point I was tempted to head to another check out lane but I waited to see how it would play out. Manager comes over...

The above article describes changes that could be coming to coupons / couponing. I've not read anywhere else but at source link about Red Plum, Smart Source and P&G suing eBay or any of the coupon clipping services. Just wanted to give a heads up as stores are changing policy due to the extreme couponing show. And getting coupons from sources other than your local Sunday paper may be temporarily delayed.

If you live in the Southeast, you're in luck. Starting Thursday, Publix will have a BOGO sale on 4 lb bags of Kibbles 'n Bits dry dog food. They normally sell for $4.99 but when you apply the $2 coupons from the Feb. 20 Red Plum they will only be about 50 cents each. This would be a good time to stock up on it. For only about 30 bucks you could have enough to feed your dog for a year. However, if you don't live in a Publix area, there is still good news. This Sunday's Red Plum insert...

Some grocery coupons go digital By DAN SEWELL, AP Business Writer Sun Jan 13, 2:20 PM ET Some coupon users are clicking instead of clipping these days to get their grocery discounts. Supermarket chains are trying out paperless, or digital, coupons, to help the thrifty-minded save time while saving money. Shoppers load the online discounts onto their store loyalty cards, receiving the credit at the checkout. Grocers see the innovation as a way to build customer loyalty, drawing consumers who are increasingly spending time online to their Web sites and ultimately, their stores. The move could increase coupon use by...

WASHINGTON - Millions of $40 government coupons become available Tuesday to help low-tech television owners buy special converter boxes for older TVs that might not work after the switch to digital broadcasting. Beginning Feb. 18, 2009, anyone who does not own a digital set and still gets their programming via over-the-air antennas will no longer receive a picture. That's the day the television industry completes its transition from old-style analog broadcasting to digital. The converter boxes are expected to cost between $50 and $70 and will be available at most major electronics retail stores. Starting Tuesday, the National Telecommunications and...

JOLIET, Ill. -- A misprint may end up costing an Illinois casino millions of dollars. Harrah's Joliet Casino said there was a mistake in about 11,000 coupons mailed to customers last week. Instead of being worth $15 or $20 apiece, each had a face value of $525 in cash. The company blames the error on a third-party vendor. Dozens of gamblers crowded Harrah's customer service desk on Friday, and got angry when the casino refused to redeem the coupons. Customers were encouraged to trade the coupons for reward points. Some did, but others decided to keep their slips of paper....
