On the wintry banks of the Potomac, throngs of conservative millennials shake off their hangovers and embark upon day four of CPAC (Conservative Political Action Conference) — but today’s is a hollow pilgrimage. After Thursday night’s ambuscade during which Donald Trump was jumped by the Fox News triad of Megyn Kelly, Brett Baier and Chris Wallace to the delight of the cackling mob, he made the decision to blow off today’s 8:30 a.m. appearance and fly to Kansas to campaign instead.
