On August 28 "a man trying to rob" an Albuquerque, New Mexico, Dairy Queen was shot and killed by an armed employee. According to the Albuquerque Journal, a Bernalillo County Sheriff's Office (BCSO) spokesman said the would-be robber "went to the Dairy Queen window with a gun and demanded money."
