Washington DC police claim there have been no signs of foul play involved in the death of a 41-year-old man who was dumped from a car and into an alley. Michael Fanone, a 41-year-old D.C. police officer who was dragged into a crowd and beaten on Jan. 6, announced his resignation from the police force on Monday. Since the attack on the Capitol when Fanone suffered a heart attack and was beaten by rioters, the officer has publicly criticized the lawmakers and others who downplayed the attack, The Washington Post reported.

According to AAA, the arresting officer informed her the children would have to go to social services if she couldn't find someone to watch them while she was driven to jail. The mother, though, was able to convince a teacher to watch the children.
