  • Senator slips up: ‘You’re not going to disenfranchise the NRA overnight’

It’s not often that the confiscation crowd is nakedly honest, but when they think they’re just preaching to the choir, they might forget the heathens are listening, too. That was the case in Sunday’s New York Times column by Maureen Dowd when Connecticut Sen. Chris Murphy blurted out the real goal of the gun grabbers: Getting weapons out of your hands means getting the vote out of your hands, too. “You’re not going to disenfranchise the NRA overnight,” Murphy told Dowd. “Disenfranchise.” This isn’t the usual, misty-eyed “if it will save one life” claptrap; and the speaker isn’t some unshaven...
  • Obama administration has SLASHED budget for domestic bombing prevention by 45 per cent...

Barack Obama's administration has cut the budget nearly in half for preventing domestic bombings, MailOnline can reveal. Under President George W. Bush, the Department of Homeland Security had $20 million allocated for preventing the use of improvised explosive devices (IEDs) by terrorists working inside the United States. The current White House has cut that funding down to $11 million. That assessment comes from Robert Liscouski, a former Homeland Security Assistant Secretary for Infrastructure Protection, in the wake of the Boston Marathon bombings on April 15 that killed three Americans and injured at least 173 others.

  • Top Five: Media's History of Falsely Blaming the Right for Mass-Murder

Once you understand that the media is a soulless left-wing propaganda machine determined to marginalize the right, everything they do makes sense. Those of you asking, "How can the media make the same mistakes over and over again?", fail to understand that falsely speculating that the right is behind or at fault for mass murder is not a mistake on the media's part, it is a political tactic. Our craven corrupt media see tragedy -- be it dead schoolchildren or theatre-goers -- as a partisan political opportunity, not a time to come together and mourn until all the facts are...
  • Shocking Vid: College Professor Arrested for Freaking Out at Pro-Life Display

A University of Buffalo (SUNY) professor was arrested for screaming obscenities at an administration approved graphic pro-life display. While cursing profusely, she accused the pro-lifers of being "profane." The video below shows the arrest along with the professor cursing and finally yelling out to surrounding students to tell her 1 p.m. class that she wouldn't be able to teach that day because she was being taken away in handcuffs. I contacted the media relations department at UB and they confirmed the arrest. John DellaContrada, Assistant Vice President for Media Relations at UB, told CMR that: "Laura Curry was arrested and...
  • Boston Marathon Bombings: What Happened And What Didn't (Nice summation of current info)

As with any crisis, early information is incomplete and sometimes outright wrong. The day after the Boston Marathon bombings, a clearer picture has emerged. Let's get up to speed with where things stand right now. What do we know about the bombs? The first bomb went off at 2:50 p.m., a few feet short of the finish line, in front of a sporting goods store and a LensCrafters. The second went off 12 seconds later, about a block further up Boylston Street, which serves as the home stretch of the marathon. You can see the blast locations on the map...
  • MSNBC’s Thomas Roberts Calls Out Barney Frank for Politicizing Boston Marathon Bombing

Former congressman Barney Frank (D-Mass.) went on MSNBC this morning to react to yesterdayÂ’s bombing at the Boston Marathon. In a shameless moment of advocacy, Frank used the tragedy to make a political statement about revenue and the size of government. Considering that this happened on MSNBC, you might expect the host to condone the congressmanÂ’s liberal activism, but anchor Thomas Roberts actually called Frank out for his despicable attempt to politicize this tragedy. Early in the interview, Frank stressed that none of us know much about who and what were behind this event as of yet. So the former...

"You never let a serious crisis go to waste. And what I mean by that it's an opportunity to do things you think you could not do before." - Rahm Emanuel, former White House Chief Of Staff to Barack Obama While many people might immediately dismiss the concept, any student of true and unadulterated history has to eventually admit this fact: Governments exploit crisis. Sometimes, they merely take advantage of the ensuing chaos and aftermath of a disaster they had nothing to do with directly. Other times, they create those disasters themselves in order to engineer social and political opportunity....
  • Is Steny Hoyer Aware That The Sequester Was Jacob Lew's Idea (According To Bob Woodward)?

I can't believe what Steny Hoyer said concerning the sequester cuts. But, according to Bob Woodward, the sequester cut was Jacob Lew's (Obam's choice to be Treasury secretary) idea, and the idea was jumped on by Obama.
  • In Wake of Boston Terror Attacks The Nation’s Vanden Heuvel Hopes America Doesn’t

It seems as though The Nation’s Katrina vanden Heuvel should take her own advice in saying that tragic events like the terrorist attack in Boston on April 15 should not be politicized.  Appearing on MSNBC’s Now w/ Alex Wagner on April 16, Ms. vanden Heuvel managed to contradict herself within mere seconds. Speaking with liberal host Alex Wagner and TheGrio.com’s Joy-Ann Reid, the left-wing commentator appeared to at first make a reasoned call for patience in the aftermath of the terrorist attack, insisting that: I think you know we know we don't want to engage in baseless speculation. What we...

At a Tuesday press conference, Rep. Steny Hoyer (D-MD) politicized the Boston Marathon bombings by blaming Monday's tragedy on the sequester, saying the bombings were "proof" that some of the sequester cuts were "irrational." Hoyer is the House Minority Whip and second-ranking Democrat in leadership.

Anyone else listening to Sean Hannity's Show and the ABC News breaks during? ABC News is SHAMELESSLY claiming this is the first US homeland terror attack on Obama's watch, a blatant lie and surely they know it. And if they don't, they should go out of the news business. ABC News needs to tell the families of the 13 murdered heros by Hassan the Islamic radical maggot that their loved ones didn't die from terrorism. Or should we assume ABC News is just toeing the Obama line that it was an act of workplace violence and not what it was,...

BEGIN TRANSCRIPT RUSH: I actually think as everybody's trying to figure out what happened in Boston, who did it, and why, let me just say something here at the top on this. I have stated countless times -- there's nothing new today -- I have stated countless times, the left politicizes everything. You recall me saying this. You recall me offering evidence of this. And they already are. I mean, yesterday, within moments of this happening, the left began to politicize it and began drooling, in some cases, and I've got the examples, drooling over the possibility that a right-wing...
