A Saudi court ordered a well-known local scholar to pay diya (blood money) after he was convicted of torturing his five-year old daughter to death. In Balad, the Iraqi army’s emergency response brigade arrested alleged Khitab Hezbollah financier and recruiter Khalid Masur Ismail in Baghdad’s Sadr City district.
