  • Donald Trump just ceded the presidency to Hillary Clinton

An hour and 18 minutes into Wednesday night’s debate, Donald Trump effectively acknowledged his coming defeat. “Lotsa luck, Hillary,” he said, after a peroration on the humanitarian disaster in Syria and how it is going to consume much of the next president’s time over the next four years. What will she need luck for if she’s not going to be president? Ten minutes earlier, Trump told moderator Chris Wallace he will let us all know on election night whether he is going to accept the results of the Nov. 8 balloting. It was a shocking and cravenly irresponsible thing to...
  • Maher: ‘Can You At This Point’ Be a Good Person and Support Trump?

Maher said, “The people of Idaho, Wyoming, Arkansas, Oklahoma, West Virginia, Kentucky, I know they’re Republican, mostly, but they’re human, right? These are human beings? What the f*ck does it take, in this country, to have being a human being supersede being a Republican?” After former Senator Bob Kerrey (D-NE) stated that there are good people who are supporting Trump, Maher asked, “Can you at this point?” After Kerrey argued that you could, Maher stated, “I don’t get that.” He added, “If the basket fits. Well, if you’re deplorable — I mean, if you have deplorable beliefs, you’re deplorable.”
  • Trump campaign gives up fight in key state

    10/13/2016 9:02:21 AM PDT · by ChicagoConservative27 · 28 replies
The Trump campaign is moving resources from the key battleground state of Virginia — a sign that the Republican presidential nominee is giving up hopes of winning there, according to a new report. The campaign “pulling out of Virginia” surprised staffers and upset those working to beat Hillary Clinton there. The news was delivered to staff there in a late Wednesday conference call. “I think it’s totally premature for the campaign to be pulling out of Virginia after so much work and all the hundreds … of hours of volunteer time and thousands and thousands of volunteers,” former Virginia state...

I just listened to Trump's speech in Florida and he isn't holding back at all anymore. Nothing is off limits it seems and I gotta say; what a refreshing change coming from a political candidate. Maybe it's because Trump isn't a politician but he sure is redefining politics while speaking plainly and openly about the things everyday people talk about all the time. He sounded a bit like the Trump in the primaries but more measured and more informed on all the issues. Go Trump!! Anyone else get a chance to hear this speech.
  • Millennial Activists Left Unimpressed With Trump’s Stance on Sexual Assault

    10/11/2016 8:00:33 AM PDT · by ChicagoConservative27 · 24 replies
Before the second presidential debate on Oct. 9, Republican nominee Donald Trump called in the traveling press corps for a press conference on his “debate prep.” What reporters were met with, however, was not the opportunity to ask the candidate any questions — including any about the 2005 Access Hollywood tape reported on Friday evening by the Washington Post in which Trump describes and brags to the show’s co-host at the time, Billy Bush, about having committed sexual assault — but rather a gambit straight out of the annals of Trump’s reality television roots. Just over an hour before the...

  • Paul Ryan will no longer campaign with Donald Trump

Speaker Paul Ryan told House Republicans Monday that he won’t campaign with — or defend — Donald Trump and he urged his members to “do what’s best for you” in the month left before Election Day. In a stinging rebuke to his party’s presidential nominee, the nation’s top elected Republican told fellow GOP members in a conference call that protecting the party’s House majority must be their priority going forward. “The speaker is going to spend the next month focused entirely on protecting our congressional majorities,” Ryan’s spokeswoman, AshLee Strong, said in a statement. During the call, Ryan said he...

  • Clinton is now beating Trump in 5 must-win battleground states

    09/29/2016 8:13:12 AM PDT · by ChicagoConservative27 · 121 replies
Voters in five battleground states declared Hillary Clinton the winner of this week’s debate against Donald Trump, boosting her fortunes in those key races, a new poll showed Thursday. A majority of voters in Colorado, Florida, North Carolina, Pennsylvania and Virginia all told Public Policy Polling that Clinton got the better of Trump in their first showdown. The Public Policy poll was taken Tuesday and Wednesday, giving voters at least one night to digest Monday’s slugfest at Hofstra University. Clinton’s debate also helped her bounce to leads in all five states, according to the poll. In four-way races that include...

Bennison's Bakery conducted an unscientific "Cookie Poll" with reference to the upcoming Presidential Election. 920 specialty cookies were sold with the likeness of Hillary Clinton 708 decorated cookies were sold with the likeness of Donald Trump. Bennison's Bakery is located in downtown Evanston, Illinois, which is commonly called "The People's Republic of Evanston." The US Representative (Comrade Jan Schakowsky) for the 9th Congressional District is a crypto-Marxist who poses as an Obama Democrat. Hillary has reason to worry if the cookie poll is any reflection of reality in La la land. She ought to be outpolling 8-1 in Evanston.

Powell, a retired 4-star general and a Republican, confirmed the authenticity of the emails to NBC News. "The hackers have a lot more," he added. The contents of the emails were first reported by Buzzfeed News. It said the messages had been obtained by the website DCLeaks.com which MSNBC reported is rumored to have ties to Russian intelligence services. • Donald Trump suddenly sounds a lot like Jeb Bush and Marco Rubio on immigration

For more than a year, Donald Trump took the hardest line on immigration — vowing to deport 11 million illegal immigrants en masse and pillorying his GOP primary rivals as favoring “amnesty.” But 11 weeks before the election, Trump is suddenly sounding a lot like the opponents he repeatedly ridiculed. The nominee and his campaign aides are now talking openly about requiring illegal immigrants to pay back taxes and potentially allowing those without criminal records to stay in the country — lines that Sen. Marco Rubio of Florida repeatedly used in the GOP presidential primary. Trump also says that any...

COLUMBIA — U.S. Sen. Lindsey Graham praised his former GOP presidential primary opponent, Republican nominee Donald Trump, for an improved showing this week, saying he could turn the tide on Hillary Clinton amid the email scandal that continues to plague the Democrat. “Trump is doing better in the last week,” Graham said Wednesday. “Her email scandal with the Clinton Foundation I think is a game-changer. If he could overcome his image of not having the temperament and judgments for the job, he would actually win.” Graham made the comment after he and fellow South Carolina congressional delegation members U.S. Reps....

(CNN)Florida Sen. Marco Rubio is standing by his description of Donald Trump as "a con artist," but he says in a new interview he still plans to support the real estate mogul for president. "I've stood by everything I ever said in my campaign," Rubio told the Miami Herald editorial board Monday when asked about his comments made during the Republican presidential primary earlier this year. He said the race is "in a different place now" -- with voters facing a "binary choice" between Trump and Hillary Clinton. "In our republic, while the presidency is powerful, there is a balance...

According to the bleak poll news presented by CBS and NBC on their Sunday evening broadcast Trump may as well cash in and go home. The MSM continues to look for the most dreary polls for Trump while, of course, not reporting on the polls that show the candidates even or with Trump holding a slight edge. More proof the MSM is doing what they can for a candidate who ought to be behind bars.

Hillary Clinton has widened her lead over Donald Trump in a pair of new national polls published on Thursday, as the Republican nominee ends one of the worst weeks of his campaign. Clinton opened up a 15-point margin in the McClatchy-Marist survey, 48% to 33%, which was conducted as Trump feuded publicly first with the Muslim parents of a slain American war hero and then House Speaker Paul Ryan, one of the GOP's most popular and powerful figures. Last month, Clinton held a narrow 3-point advantage, 42%-39% in a McClatchy-Marist poll. In an NBC News-Wall Street Journal poll, Clinton's edge...

Speaker Paul Ryan suggested Thursday that his endorsement of Donald Trump for president is not written in stone. In a radio interview with WTAQ's "The Jerry Bader Show," the Wisconsin Republican was asked if there would ever be a bridge too far when it comes to the GOP presidential nominee. "None of these things are ever blank checks," said Ryan, who then added that Trump won the Republican nomination "fair and square" from the voters and delegates. At the beginning of the interview, Bader asked Ryan how he can continue to walk such a fine line from now until the...
