THE Dutch city of Dordrecht near Rotterdam is in lockdown after police said several people had been shot. Emergency services rushed to the scene, with 15 police cars in the street, two ambulances, a trauma helicopter, and several police officers, according to a PvdA member from the city. AMSTERDAM — Breda Court was sealed off on Friday and about 400 people ordered to remain inside the building after a suspect "anthrax" letter addressed to a judge was discovered in the postal room. The letter was written in English and contained a suspect powder. Alarmed authorities prevented anyone from entering the building for several hours and urged the 400 people trapped inside to restrict their movements. ROTTERDAM, Netherlands- A bomb blast shattered windows and blew out walls at a police post near the port city of Rotterdam in a pre-dawn attack Wednesday. The building was unstaffed and there were no injuries, police said. Police combed the area for the assailant, who apparently escaped on a motor scooter after throwing an explosive devise through the window.
