LA JOYA — Officers turned over two men to federal authorities Wednesday morning after a short pursuit. The chase began at 7:04 a.m. Wednesday after a La Joya patrol officer said he saw a white Dodge Intrepid that failed to yield while exiting Whataburger, 450 Highway 83, said Joe Cantu, a La Joya police spokesman.
