Matt Drudge, author of the conservative media site DrudgeReport.com, is being ridiculed over his tweets in advance of Hurricane Matthew's arrival in Florida. Thursday afternoon and early Friday morning, the conservative firebrand took to Twitter to imply that the storm might not be as powerful as government officials say it is. First he tweeted: "The deplorables are starting to wonder if govt has been lying to them about Hurricane Matthew intensity to make exaggerated point on climate."

Matt Drudge, author of the conservative media site drudgereport.com, is being ridiculed over his tweets in advance of Hurricane Matthew's arrival in Florida. Thursday afternoon and early Friday morning the conservative firebrand took to Twitter to imply that the storm might not be as powerful as government officials say it is. First he tweeted: "The deplorables are starting to wonder if govt has been lying to them about Hurricane Matthew intensity to make exaggerated point on climate." Drudge was apparently referring to Hillary Clinton's description of some of Donald Trump's supporters as "deplorables." Just a few minutes later, Drudge wrote:...

Without regard for discussion I've heard about Matt Drudge being a 'chaos' guy... ...twice in the past week I've had Drudge idling in another tab and had my entire browser locked up by adware mimicking a support window. I'm fully-aware it's a scam, having shared this during a recent scam/fraud presentation. I've been visiting Drudge less & less the prior year; time to dump my cache and leave it be. - rant over -

Drudge placed a character (reversed apostrophe) in the upper left corner of the page. As I understand it, that means big news is coming . . . (?)

Once you get past the mocking headline that she's alive, what do you notice about the colors and orders of the suits Hillary is in? Hell of a mocking headline from Drudge!

Hillary Clinton's fainting episode at a 9/11 memorial Sunday morning was preceded by months of Matt Drudge, the proprietor of the Drudge Report, claiming that Hillary's health is worse than she lets on to the public. [Snip] The Drudge Report prominently featured stories on Clinton's coughing episode the same day, earning criticism from the Washington Post’s Chris Cillizza. "Led by Drudge, there have been questions circulating in the conservative media - and among Trump surrogates like Rudy Giuliani = that 'something' is wrong with Clinton for months," Cillizza wrote in an article titled "Can we just stop talking about Hillary...

The video Drudge was linking to in his "Hillary 911" headline at the top of the Drudge Report as of Sunday night has been removed ("by user," according to Google): https://youtu.be/bzOoj3u3wsw

The photos Drudge uses often contain riddles, clues or inside jokes. Use of a single BACK-TICK mark in the extreme upper-left corner of his site traditionally indicates to long-time fans that a HUGE STORY is about to hit. When it does hit, in every case a flashing siren accompanies the headline, which is often in a huge, red font. Freepers: What could this impending news BE..? Take your guesses, please.

Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton lost several mobile telephones carrying e-mails from her private server during her time in office, according to newly-released FBI documents on the investigation into her mishandling of classified information.

Washington (CNN)Newly released emails from Hillary Clinton's tenure as secretary of state raise questions about the nature of the department's relationship with the Clinton Foundation. Judicial Watch, a conservative watchdog group, released 296 pages of emails from the Democratic presidential nominee, including 44 that Judicial Watch says were not previously handed over to the State Department by Clinton. The emails, many of which are heavily redacted, raise questions about the Clinton Foundation's influence on the State Department and its relations during her tenure. In one instance, top Clinton Foundation official Doug Band lobbied Clinton aides for a job for someone...

The first week of August was a rough one for Donald Trump's campaign; by coincidence, it was also a busy one for Trump supporters, who see a media coverup protecting Hillary Clinton. Over the weekend, the Trump campaign released a Web ad that mocked Clinton's admission that she "short-circuited" by giving a misleading answer about the investigation into her emails. "She took a short-circuit in the brain," Trump said at a Saturday night rally. "She's got problems. Honestly, I don't think she's all there." At the same time, the Drudge Report, WorldNetDaily and a small army of would-be Twitter sleuths...

Carl Bernstein talks the power of the Drudge Report and the influence the eponymous editor had in the Republican primary race during a CNN panel discussion about Roger Ailes and the future of FOX News. Bernstein said FOX has driven Trump's candidacy less than Matt Drudge and called the website "an influence unequalled." "One of the interesting things we've seen in this campaign is, FOX has driven Trump's candidacy less than Matt Drudge," the legendary journalist said Wednesday on CNN. "Drudge is really great new factor in this election in terms of media. He is -- Drudge, that site has...

While police officers in downtown Dallas were being killed late Thursday night into Friday morning, conservative media hero Matt Drudge donned the homepage of his eponymous Drudge Report with an unmistakable approach to the story: This headline. Wow. pic.twitter.com/0ALYFLdC9T — Michelle Fields (@MichelleFields) July 8, 2016 (SNIP) In moments like these, we should do the opposite of what Drudge is doing. Not saying it’s right or wrong; merely imprudent. — Noah Rothman (@NoahCRothman) July 8, 2016 And as even David French — that guy whose name you remember because he was briefly championed as the anti-Trump savior to redeem the...

Conservative news aggregator Matt Drudge upset some prominent members of his fan base last week when his website featured a “Black Lives Kill” headline following the attack on police officers in Dallas. The attack left five police officers killed and (Business Insider‘s) Oliver Darcy called Drudge’s word a “race-baiting headline,” while calling Drudge a “once reliable ally who has become more and more divisive” to conservatives. “I just deleted my Drudge app,” National Review writer David French declared on Twitter after seeing the controversial headline.

"BLACK LIVES KILL." Those were the three words that blared across the Drudge Report early Friday morning after five Dallas police officers were killed in a horrific ambush attack. And immediately upon seeing the race-baiting headline, conservatives rebelled against a once-reliable ally who has become more and more divisive to them over the course of the 2016 campaign. “In moments like these, we should do the opposite of what Drudge is doing,” Commentary Magazine Editor Noah Rothman wrote on Twitter. “Responsible reporting as always,” sarcastically tweeted Jeff Blehar, from the popular Ace of Spades blog. Others piled on. Allahpundit, an...
