Warning: Marinated-in-Marxism Democrats and supporters are hot on the trail of Tea Party patriots. They have launched a Crash the Tea Party (CTTP) website: crashtheteaparty.org on the eve of the April 15 anniversary of the Tea Party. “WHO WE ARE, Crash The Tea Party style, is a lesson in Marxism 101: “A nationwide network of Democrats, Republicans, and Independents who are sick and tired of that loose affiliation of racists, homophobes, and morons; who constitute the fake grass-roots movement which calls itself “The Tea Party.”

The FBI arrested a northern California man Wednesday for allegedly making threatening phone calls to House Speaker Nancy Pelosi over health care reform, law enforcement officials told The Associated Press. Charges against the man have yet to be disclosed, but they are expected to be filed in federal court in California. Several federal officials said the man made dozens of calls to Pelosi's homes in California and Washington, as well as to her husband's business office. They said he recited her home address and said if she wanted to see it again, she would not support the health care overhaul...

As an active Tea Party participant, I thought Donna Brazile's column in the March 29 Mercury calling for civility in public discourse seemed a little one-sided. Ms. Brazile confined her examples of alleged bad behavior to people presumed to be aligned with the Tea Party movement. When I think of incivility, though, what I think of first are the folks on the other side of the political fence who express their opinions of us Tea Party folks with extended middle fingers or by rolling down their windows as they drive by and screaming things like "Idiots!" or "Morons!" or, of...

When we first reported that Harry Reid Supporters threw eggs at the Tea Party Express bus, some on the left tried to blame Andrew Breitbart, claiming that it never happened, or that if it did, Breitbart probably threw the eggs himself to make the Reid supporters look bad. Too bad for them there is video. In this clip, a Reid supporting union man is busted egg handed!

All journalists get facts wrong on occasion; they even wrongly speculate at times. Here's Salon's take on Eric Cantor's announcement last Thursday that someone had shot into his conference room window. All the barbs directed at Cantor in this piece sound like classic projection. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ A day after telling reporters someone shot up his office, and implying it was because he's Jewish, Cantor's story had fallen so completely to pieces that his aides didn't even bother to defend it anymore. [snip] Cantor's statement about receiving threats was as melodramatic as it was self-contradictory; he accused Democrats of stirring up trouble...

When activists break the law protesting Republican policies, it is because lefties care so much. But when conservatives act likewise, it's because they are loudmouths and louts. So TV tells me. During an interview last week with Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz., NBC's Ann Curry observed that former GOP running mate Sarah Palin, who was about to stump for McCain over the weekend, had told supporters "don't retreat, instead - reload" and posted on her Facebook page "a map highlighting weak Democratic districts that conservatives should target with a crosshair symbol. "Considering these threats, these concerns that we've been hearing about,...

On Monday, March 29, the U.S. Attorney's Office in Philadelphia announced that Norman Leboon was being charged with two counts of threatening to kill Rep. Eric Cantor (R-Va.) and his family. Comments left at the Queerty and Huffington Post websites in December 2008 and videos posted at YouTube as recently as this month, which evidence suggests are from Leboon, suggest that he identifies as gay and has a partner and two children.

So, according to Frank Rich of the New York Times, the Tea Party protesters are indulging in a “small-scale mimicry of Kristallnacht.” There is a “tsunami of anger” gathering across the land, he writes, and an “accompanying rise in right-wing extremism”. Well, I detest some of the expressions reported in recent days and I’m hoping the Tea Party movement – where I’ve met many thoughtful, responsible people – will begin a little self-policing. I’m also hoping that the worst sign-carriers will be taken aside and questioned — as I would be willing to bet that some of them are plants,...

Let's document here the numerous death threats the Left has made against us and right-wing politicians. A few that come to my mind immediately: The movie "Death of a President" (2006) by British film makers Gabriel Range and Simon Finch Cindy Sheehan's Book: "Peace Mom" in which she fantasizes about going back in time and killing the infant George W. Bush. Alec Baldwin's suggestion on the David Letterman show that Henry Hyde and his family should be dragged into the street and stoned to death. Nicholson Baker's " Checkpoint," a novella conversation between two people about the advisability of assassinating...

Republican Rep. Eric Cantor's Richmond campaign office was shot at Wednesday night, Fox News has learned, the latest in a rash of apparent threats and acts of intimidation against members of Congress. Most of the threats so far have been reported by Democrats, but Cantor -- the No. 2 Republican in the House -- is one of about 10 lawmakers who has asked for increased security protection, Fox News has learned. As a member of the House leadership, U.S. Capitol Police already provide Cantor with a security detail around the clock, but he has asked for more security. As House...

The Rochester Police Department is investigating a case of vandalism at the Monroe County Democratic Committee headquarters on University Avenue. A Democratic spokesman tells YNN something smashed into the office's front door sometime between 3:30pm Saturday afternoon and noon on Sunday. No one was in the building at the time and no one was injured. The committee filed a police report Sunday evening. Police are not sure what caused the glass doors to shatter. There was a similar attack at Democratic Representative Louise Slaughter's office in Niagara Falls on Friday.

ELIZABETHTOWN – An Elizabethtown man says his truck was vandalized in a politically motivated act that he believes borders on being a hate crime. Police charged the man connected with destroying the paint of Cherry Wood Drive resident Kenneth Bunting’s pickup with criminal mischief – a felony, but not a criminal allegation of hate or prejudice. Reacting to a surveillance video image of the vandalism, Elizabethtown police arrested retired Army Lt. Col. Thomas James North on Wednesday afternoon on a Class D felony charge of criminal mischief, first-degree, for allegedly marring paint on Bunting’s truck. According to a warrant for...

Kathy Griffin is not known for holding back her feelings --and when it comes to Sarah Palin she’s expressing herself even more vociferously. And this time she has pseudo-family member Levi Johnston as a comedic foil. The red-haired comic recently took her standup show to Anchorage, Alaska, where she had Levi escort her on stage. As RadarOnline.com reported, Johnston, 19, also got to shoot an episode of Kathy’s reality show, My Life on the D List. And while Kathy took plenty of shots at the Alaska governor on her stage show, she really let her have it while shooting ‘D...

Springfield, Mass. —A cameraman working on a ballot integrity initiative with Americans for Limited Government Foundation was wrapped up in a large Martha Coakley campaign sign by her supporters as he tried to video the campaign rally. According to Erich Heyssel, who was attempting to film a Coakley campaign event, “While filming at a Martha Coakley event I was approached by two men holding a 4×8 sign. They proceeded to hold the sign up in my line of sight, I tried to move, and was continuously blocked by these men and their sign.” Heyssel continued, “The situation escalated as they...

They’ve dumped nearly a $1 million of rank-and-file dues into Martha Antoinette Coakley’s coffers. They “pulled out all the stops” before the primary and they’ll be throwing all their ground troops into the Bay State over the weekend. We know how the SEIU thugs operate. I told you in Culture of Corruption about Andy Stern’s organizational motto: “[W]e prefer to use the power of persuasion, but if that doesn’t work we use the persuasion of power.” They’ll go after Boy Scouts. And baby-sitters. And home health-care providers. They raided their treasury to pour $60-$80 million into Obama and the Democrats’...

The Democrat-controlled House Judiciary Committee on Wednesday rejected by a 15-14 vote a resolution of inquiry that would have forced the Justice Department to tell Congress why it dismissed a civil complaint against members of the New Black Panther Party who disrupted a Philadelphia polling place in the November 2008 election. The party-line vote had been sought by Rep. Frank R. Wolf, Virginia Republican, who, along with Rep. Lamar Smith of Texas, ranking Republican on the House Judiciary Committee, said they have been unable to get information from the department on the complaint's dismissal. "I am deeply disappointed that the...

A campaign aide to Democratic US Senate candidate Martha Coakley has acknowledged that he acted too aggressively in an incident Tuesday night in which he jostled a reporter for a conservative magazine who was pursuing Coakley for a comment and the reporter fell to the ground. "Last evening I was a little too aggressive in trying to help the attorney general get to her car and catch a flight," Michael Meehan said this afternoon in a statement. He said he had called the reporter, John McCormack of the Weekly Standard, this afternoon to apologize. McCormack, who reported on the incident...
