General Motors recalls heavy duty vans Published: March. 27, 2010 at 11:45 AM WASHINGTON, March 27 (UPI) -- General Motors Co. said nearly 5,000 of the U.S. company's heavy duty vans are being recalled amid concerns of potential engine fires. The Detroit News said Saturday while General Motors is recalling thousands of heavy-duty 2010 Chevrolet Express and GMC Savana passenger and cargo vans, GM spokesman Alan Adler assured the public the recall issue has not resulted in any accidents or injuries to date.
