Okay, I've had it. I'm finished with the loony Left. Polarization, the political gap between liberal and conservative, is now a canyon without a bridge. When liberals took power riding Obama's bandwagon of popularity, they went crazy with lust for dominance. I kept my mouth shut as legions of my fellow Americans (some even close friends) turned zombie, talking glassy-eyed about their Dear Leader as if he were their democrat messiah. Converts to political activism, these people were formerly NOT involved or politically AWARE, so they over-compensated with childish enthusiasm. It was hard to watch as the media and the...

On NY-23, I'm with Fred Thompson and Jack Fowler: A Conservative can win in a three-way race, and Doug Hoffman is deserving of your support. Newt really needs to re-think his support for Dede Scozzafava. This isn't RINO but DIABLO - Democrat In All But Label Only. It's not one of those "socially liberal, fiscally conservative" bi-swinger deals — not when you're pro-"stimulus", pro-cash-for-clunkers. And the reductive argument that her sole redeeming value - a willingness to vote for John Boehner as Speaker — is reason enough to support her is silly in a special election. If he's ever Speaker,...

When a 33-year-old, single woman gives birth to octuplets one thing we can count on is the mainstream media doing what it does best: providing a stream of disinformation in the name of political correctness. As Ann Coulter has pointed out single moms have been elevated to sainthood and are above criticism.

As you settle in with your bowl of popcorn and drink to watch the quadrennial competition for America's highest office, you need a scorecard. You are eagerly anticipating seeing the national map light up in red and blue--a welcome reminder of our federalist design--but what should you be watching for? How will you know whether John McCain is doing well enough to have any shot of pulling off the upset? There are only ten states that were decided by 5 percent or less in each of the last two presidential elections: Ohio, Nevada, Wisconsin, New Hampshire, Minnesota, Oregon (yes, Oregon),...

But in Philadelphia, where he has lived since 1945, and where he built one of the region's largest, most successful businesses (Vanguard has 12,000 employees and oversees nearly $1.2 trillion in assets), and where he helped foster the National Constitution Center, serving as its chairman for nearly eight years, Bogle is less known than, say, Bill Giles of the Phillies or Brian Roberts of Comcast. No doubt many Philadelphians would be surprised to learn that in 1999 Fortune magazine named Bogle one of the investment industry's four giants of the 20th century, and that in 2004 Time magazine included him...

Last Spring, MSM Obsessed Over "Is Obama Black Enough?" The favorite parlor game for liberal, MSM reporters and commentators must be, "Ask Me A Non-Question". Mixing business and pleasure during the spring 2007, they obsessed over the following non-question: "Is Barack Obama black enough?". By posing non-questions, liberals can give non-answers, which suits them for several reasons. First, it satisfies their regular readers/viewers that they are all thinking. Secondly, it shows they all "care", by just asking. Lastly, they don't have to address real questions: those have much harder solutions. Asking a non-question to a liberal is like waving the...

The George W Bush administration plans to launch an air strike against Iran within the next two months, an informed source tell, echoing other reports that have surfaced in the media in the United States recently. Two key US senators briefed on the attack planned to go public with their opposition to the move, according to the source, but their projected New York Times op-ed piece has yet to appear. The source, a retired US career diplomat and former assistant secretary of state still active in the foreign affairs community, speaking anonymously, said last week that the US plans an...

Like lovers scorned, Bill Clinton’s longtime liberal supporters are walking out on him, slamming the door behind them and rebuking the 42nd president for his behavior leading up to last weekend’s South Carolina primary. Clinton’s base seems to be eroding fast as liberal Democratic stalwarts join up with Barack Obama, whose message of change seems now to apply not only to the Bush Administration of the last seven years, but the eight-year Clinton Administration that preceded it. Obama’s biggest “get” was Sen. Ted Kennedy, who abandoned his neutrality in the presidential race and endorsed Obama over Hillary Clinton on Monday....

LAS VEGAS - Prosecutors filed formal charges Tuesday against O.J. Simpson, alleging the fallen football star committed 10 felonies, including kidnapping, in the armed robbery of sports memorabilia collectors in a casino-hotel room. Police reports obtained Tuesday by The Associated Press offered details on the scene. Simpson, 60, was booked on five felony counts, including suspicion of assault and robbery with a deadly weapon. When is enough, ENOUGH!? After seeing how the Brits are Desperately looking for a way to end ... "Peacefully" .. The 'kidnapping', 'hostage taking' of their countrymen .. I Have to ask: WHEN IS ENOUGH, ENOUGH? When does the fright of Minorities and Political Correctness .. End? When does the Free World, (discover, inherit, LUCK INTO) A leader who says .. "Enough is Enough"! WHEN will the Bullies .. become the Bullied? When will the frustrations of having 'No One' standing up and saying .. "Enough Is Enough" .. come to an end? I am tired of yelling at my...

CORDOVA, ALASKA — Oysterman Jim Aguiar had never had to deal with the bacterium Vibrio parahaemolyticus in his 25 years working the frigid waters of Prince William Sound. The dangerous microbe infected seafood in warmer waters, like the Gulf of Mexico. Alaska was way too cold. But the sound was gradually warming. By summer 2004, the temperature had risen just enough to poke above the crucial 59-degree mark. Cruise ship passengers who had eaten local oysters were soon coming down with diarrhea, cramping and vomiting — the first cases of Vibrio food poisoning in Alaska that anyone could remember. "We...

Some of the newest players in health care are rubbing doctors the wrong way. You may know them: those small clinics at your neighborhood Wal-Mart, Target or CVS that promise quick attention for routine visits -- sore throats, minor aches and pains, flu shots -- with no appointments needed. The clinics, which go by such names as MinuteClinic, RediClinic, QuickClinic, Medpoint Express, Curaquick and MediMin, offer convenience and low price -- scarce commodities in today's medical marketplace. But while consumers are taking to the concept, physician resistance is building. ...Not that many are convinced this trend is good for patients....

Juan Williams says enough with the culture of failure that's undermining Black America Faced with some problem or other, one of Margaret Thatcher's colleagues proposed creating a special cabinet department to deal with it. "Good God, no," said the Prime Minister. "Then we'll never get rid of it." That's good advice in any situation. Whatever good it might once have done, America's racial-grievance industry is now principally invested in its own indispensability. Lavishly remunerated panjandrums such as the Reverends Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton have a far greater interest in maintaining racism than any humdrum Ku Klux Klan kleagle, assuming...

States, Counties Begin to Enforce Immigration Law By Peter Whoriskey Washington Post Staff Writer Wednesday, September 27, 2006; 6:50 AM CHARLOTTE -- Police here operated for years under what amounts to a "don't ask, don't tell" policy toward illegal immigrants. As elsewhere in the United States, law enforcement officers did not check the immigration status of people they came into contact with, and in the vast majority of cases, a run-in with the law carried little threat of deportation. But....
