WASHINGTON (WMAL) – Boy Scout history will be made this weekend at Nationals Park. Saturday for the first time ever an all-girl Cub Scout den will lead the flag ceremony at the start of a Major League Baseball game. Since Saturday will be a first in the history of baseball, all media coverage will go to the Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown, New York. The Nationals take on the Diamondbacks Saturday at 4:05 p.m.

Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned – and that proved true after a woman in central Florida beat her husband after he allegedly forgot their wedding anniversary. According to Pasco County sheriffs, Carol Stone, 35, smacked the victim several times on his head and face area, leaving red marks on his face, along with minor scratches to his neck and chest. Women are having fewer children than ever before and more are staying childless, new data reveals today. Women who turned 45 in 2016 had an average of 1.80 children, down from 2.21 for their mothers' generation, who turned 45 in 1944. The same generation also had fewer children by their 30th birthday, suggesting women are having children later in life. Women who turned 45 last year had 1.06 children by 30 compared to 1.8 in their mother's generation. Muscles and money are qualities that straight women and gay men typically find attractive in men, according to an analysis of Tube Crush—a website where people post unsolicited pictures of men seen on the London Underground.
