Key Findings | Individual and Community Preparedness Division FEMA has conducted the National Household Survey on Disaster Preparedness annually since 2013 to assess preparedness actions, attitudes and motivations in the United States. The survey measures preparedness of the American public across the whole community. The survey was fielded from February 1 to March 14, 2023.
