A Chambersburg man is in jail after allegedly fleeing from police Monday at speeds up to 120 mph while driving a stolen car into Maryland, causing several crashes before finally hitting the back of a tractor-trailer. Gabriel Edward Gomez, 25, of 31 N. Franklin St., was arrested in Washington County, Md., after crashing the 1992 Toyota Camry on Interstate 81 southbound, near mile marker 9.
