  • MSNBC Guest Frets Over '1000-Year Reich' After Kavanaugh Confirmation

Guest Danielle Moodie-Mills remarked on guest host Richard Lui’s comment that President Trump had a very good week, saying “it’s just funny to me that a good week for Donald Trump is a horrible week for our democracy and the American public.” . . . After issuing a call to action for Democratic voters, Mystal wondered if “this reign that they now have control over all three branches of government, we’re going to see if this reign lasts for 30 days or two years or a thousand-year reich.”
  • The Lingering Darkness of the Alt-Right [Barf]

It’s easy to laugh at this weekend’s Unite the Right rally. It was pathetic. Media outnumbered white supremacists, and counterprotesters outnumbered the media. If that’s the alt-right in 2018, then public white supremacy in the United States is reverting back to its pre-2015 norm — when you could always find a couple dozen neo-Nazis to march somewhere, but you’d rarely see the kind of numbers we watched in Charlottesville. But as the alt-right fades (for now), let’s not forget its legacy. And let’s not turn our heads from its malignant influence. Consider what happened between 2015 and yesterday’s pitiful march.
  • NYT's embattled Sarah Jeong: President Trump is 'basically Hitler'

    Washington Times ^ | August 6, 2018 | Valerie Richardson
The New York Times said it vetted her social-media history before Sarah Jeong was hired last week, which means the newspaper was presumably aware of her “Trump is Hitler” tweets. In addition to firing off anti-white and anti-cop missives, Ms. Jeong, the latest member of the newspaper’s editorial board, repeatedly equated Donald Trump to Adolph Hitler on Twitter leading up to the 2016 presidential election. Her account included declarations such as “Trump is Hitler,” “Trump = Hitler,” and “trump is basically hitler,” as well as “Was Hitler as rapey as Donald Trump?”

Gudrun Burwitz, the true-believing daughter of Heinrich Himmler, the architect of the Holocaust and Nazi Germany’s highest-ranking official after Adolf Hitler, died May 24 in or near Munich. She was 88. Her death was first reported by the German newspaper Bild, which also confirmed that Mrs. Burwitz had worked for two years in West Germany’s foreign intelligence agency. The agency’s chief historian, Bodo Hechelhammer, told the newspaper that Mrs. Burwitz worked as a secretary under an assumed name in the early 1960s. The agency does not comment on current or past employees until they have died. Mrs. Burwitz, who was...

Friday on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe,” network contributor Donny Deutsch said President Donald Trump’s voters who support his immigration policies were essentially “standing at the border like Nazis.” Deutsch said “This can no longer be about who Trump is. It has to be about who we are. If we are working towards November, we can no longer say Trump is the bad guy. If you vote for Trump, you’re the bad guy. If you vote for Trump, you are ripping children from parents’ arms. The mistake that we’ve made in the past is, ‘Look at that bad guy over there, look...
  • Fatah: Israel worse than Nazis, wants to 'crush' the Arab world

The Palestinian Authority’s ruling Fatah faction called Israel “worse than Hitler,” according to a report by Palestinian Media Watch. According to Fatah Spokesman Osama Al-Qawasmi, Israel’s goal is to “break the dignity” of the Arab world, “crush” it, and “steal its resources.” Israel will turn to this task after it is “done with” the Palestinians. To reach these objectives, Israel is using the US as a tool. Al-Qawasmi claimed Israel “rules over the American decision-making and the American Congress” and controls everything the US is doing in the region. In another interview, Al-Qawasmi stated that Israel is worse than “Hitler,...
  • Booker: The DHS Secretary Is Pretty Much A Nazi Enabler

Sen. Cory Booker (D-NJ) is not done with DHS Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen. Not even close. The intense tantrum from Booker at the Senate Judiciary Committee on Tuesday was due to two things; 1) He’s running for president in 2020; and 2) the “tears of rage” that flowed when he heard about the president’s remarks about immigrants from “s**thole countries,” and why are we letting them come here. Nielsen couldn’t recall the president using this exact language when he said it during a meeting between Democrats and Republicans over immigration, the obstacle that could shut down the government later tonight.
  • Flake to denounce Trump media attacks as Stalinist in Senate Speech

Sen. Jeff Flake is planning to slam President Donald Trump's attacks on the press on the Senate floor this week in a speech that will compare the president's use of the term "enemy of the people" to describe the media to Soviet dictator Josef Stalin. "When a figure in power reflexively calls any press that doesn't suit him 'fake news,' it is that person who should be the figure of suspicion, not the press," Flake, R-Ariz., will say, according to excerpts of the speech provided to NBC News. Trump called the media the "enemy of the people" in a February...

Progressives eat up the Trump=Hitler narrative to the point where there is a billboard in downtown Phoenix, which is heavy on such imagery. Santa Monica-based activist Karen Fiorito designed the billboard, which has the president in between two nuclear explosions and dollar signs imitating swastikas used by the Nazi Party. Fiorito says she’s worried about money and politics, along with the direction of the country under Trump. Yeah, that goes for you and every other voter who cast a ballot for a losing candidate in a presidential election. The back of Fiorito’s billboard shows a bunch of hands using sign...

There is no logic. There are no facts. You can say blue, and they will hear white. One plus one equals cat. Calling the left mentally ill is truly a disservice to those who are mentally ill. At least with mental illness there’s a reason for the madness and a hope for a cure. There is no hope for the left. They are suffering from a deep-rooted spiritual sickness, one for which, I’m afraid, there is no cure. When you compare a United States President to a creature who killed 6 million Jews and 5 million others, what exactly is...
  • "America First" is a Democrat-Invented Phrase

The downside of the 2016 Trump victory is this: For four -- and possibly eight -- years, we will have to endure the daily distortions, perversions, and misrepresentations of absolutely anything Donald Trump says. Case in point: President Trump, in his Inaugural address, said that from now on we will put America first. The left immediately jumped on this one phrase, noting that it was used by Charles Lindberg and isolationists in World War II who wanted us not to enter the war. Thus, they extrapolate, Trump is an anti-Semite who loves Hitler and wants to be a Nazi. Let...

Remember when there was serious discussion about Ashley Judd running as the Dem candidate for senator from Kentucky against Mitch McConnell in 2014? Maybe cooler heads prevailed, realizing what they would have had on their hands! Check out Judd’s performance at the DC Women’s March today. After cutting off Michael Moore, she proceeded to histrionically channel a diatribe on behalf of a young woman from Tennessee that was laden with Hitler and Nazi references to Trump and the Republicans: “a man whose words are a death trap to America . . . I didn’t know devils could be resurrected, but...

Madrid (AFP) - Pope Francis warned against populism, saying it could lead to the election of "saviours" like Hitler. In an hour-long interview with Spanish newspaper El Pais conducted as Donald Trump was being sworn in as US president, the pontiff also condemned the idea of using walls and barbed wire to keep out foreigners. "Of course crises provoke fears and worries," he said but added that for him "the example of populism in the European sense of the word is Germany in 1933. "Germany... was looking for a leader, someone who would give her back her identity and there...

Pope Francis says he’ll wait to see what U.S. President Donald Trump does before forming an opinion about him. In an interview published Saturday evening by Spanish newspaper El Pais, Francis says he doesn't like “judging people early. We’ll see what Trump does.” Asked about populist-style political leaders emerging in the United States and Europe, Francis warned against seeking a savior in times of crisis. …

Honolulu’s Café 8 ½ gets rave reviews on Yelp for its “Radiatore Verde” and “Italian stir fry,” among other popular dishes at the eclectic mom-and-pop restaurant – but the response to its new 'policy' barring pro-Trump patrons has been decidedly more mixed. A bright yellow, handmade sign posted on the restaurant's front glass door declares: “If you voted for Trump you cannot eat here! No Nazis.” A photo of the sign was shared with FoxNews.com. One also is proudly posted on the café’s Facebook page, and was “liked” by some 40 people. “…The next time you're in Honolulu, eat lunch...

The ultimate shutdown in politics is to compare a political opponent to Adolf Hitler. And while Donald Trump may have changed much of what we know about politics, that truth lived on in 2016, even if it didn't stop the president-elect from winning. Here are seven times, in no particular order, the national media compared Trump to Hitler. 1. New York Times book review by Michiko Kakutani of "How Propaganda Works" on Tuesday:

Throughout the election cycle, many liberal pundits accused president-elect Donald Trump of acting like “literally Hitler” over his policy proposals. Now one social justice activist is comparing Trump to Hitler--because of a gesture of good faith. Following the “60 Minutes” interview in which Trump said he would not accept the president’s salary, Parker Molloy, a transgender writer at Upworthy, tweeted this means Trump is taking a page “literally out of Hitler’s playbook”:

MOUNTAIN VIEW (KPIX 5) — A Mountain View high school teacher was kicked out of his classroom and is now getting threats for comparing President-elect Donald Trump to Hitler. Frank Novarro doesn’t know when he’ll be in front of the classroom again after a history lesson he believes was misunderstood. While some are accusing the history teacher of calling Trump a racist by drawing the comparison, he says that didn’t happen. “Because I think that it is historically factual,” says Novarro.

A San Francisco man protested Donald Trump's astounding presidential victory by mounting a Nazi flag above his house on Wednesday. The Dolores Heights homeowner, who asked to remain anonymous, stressed that he neither supports the President-elect nor Nazis. Instead the red flag with the Swastika was akin to a harbinger of trouble that Trump's win could usher in. The flag was taken down around 2 p.m. Wednesday and replaced with a California flag after the homeowner received angry phone calls and was confronted by an irate neighbor. The woman told him that she was very hurt because her grandparents were...
