First: It pretty much just for hubby and I, thus these small grills. Second: Hubby HATES the taste of food grill via gas, thus the charcoal grill. Third: Neither of us know very much at all about grilling -- an understatement if there ever was one. (Though your's truly is a pretty darn good cook, if I do say so myself) Finally: a) We live in an empty-nester apt. and so be we'll be grilling from a patio.... into the clear sky. b) Yes, it has to be portable, and have a work surface. (Want to drag back and forth...

Mouth grills are so last year. The newest (and some say safer) way to display dental bling: tooth jewelry. Unlike grills -- mouthpieces that blanket the teeth like gaudily bejeweled braces -- tooth jewelry is a less ostentatious, less expensive and less intrusive way to sparkle when you smile. Monika Linau, owner of Santa Barbara, Calif.-based DecoDent, sells a range of tooth crystals and jewelry that includes crosses, aliens, Nike-swoosh lookalikes, and gems in heart and star shapes. The jewels are meant to be attached by dentists with a composite substance. "It's basically the same process as a colored tooth...

Talk about taking a bite out of crime. Government lawyers tried to confiscate the gold tooth caps known as "grills" from the mouths of two men facing drug charges, saying the dental work qualified as seizable assets. They had them in a vehicle headed to a dental clinic by the time defense attorneys persuaded a judge to halt the procedure. "I've been doing this for over 30 years and I have never heard of anything like this," said Richard J. Troberman, a past president of the Washington Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers. "It sounds like Nazi Germany when they were...

We've been looking to possibly replace our charcoal grill with a gas grill. The only thing that is holding my husband back is possibly not getting that same charcoal/grill flavor that you would get when cooking over charcoal. Can anyone tell me if there is any way you can achieve this type flavor when cooking on a gas grill. Thanks!!

A Mexican man killed his lover in a drunken, drugged fight then cooked the man's body in tomato and onion sauce and ate it over three days. Police found Gumaro de Dios Arias grilling human flesh for his breakfast, including part of a heart, when they raided a shack he lived in near the Caribbean beach resort of Playa del Carmen, a police chief said today. "He was preparing stews. There was a grill where he was cooking part of the heart and bits he had cut off the body. It was terrible, terrible," said local police chief Martin Estrada,...

Now that all is decided except how much French tourists will be charged for parking tickets in post-war Iraq, I want to temporarily divert the attention of my fellow FReepers onto a truly serious topic. I'm talking, of course, about...........grilling. The Lovely Wife and I celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary yesterday, and as part of our mutually-decided "extended celebration" of our Silver Anniversary, we decided as one of our little fun things planned to get a new grill. Stop laughing. We like to grill. A lot. You see, we figured that all too often, couples that reach this point have...
