A Montana woman accused of destroying a piece of art some say depicted Jesus Christ committing a sex act pleaded not guilty this morning to a charge of criminal mischief, a Class 4 felony. Kathleen Folden waived her right to a preliminary hearing and is scheduled for a three-day trial in January. Folden's appearance was brief. In her arrest affidavit, Folden admitted to visiting the Loveland Museum/Gallery on Oct. 6 for the sole purpose of destroying the print of Enrique Chagoya's "The Misadventures of Romantic Cannibals."...

Fayette county officials arrested a Junction City, Oregon woman Sept. 29th , in West Union for Failure to Comply with the Iowa sex-offender registry. Fayette County Sheriff’s Office received a tip from a citizen, and found Tammie Sue Benson-Whitehead, 48, to be staying at 101 Jones Street, Suite B, in West Union. Benson-Whitehead is listed as a sex-offender for two counts of 2nd degree sexual abuse in 2003.

SPARTANBURG COUNTY, S.C. -- One of two teachers accused of having parties with underage teenagers that involved alcohol, marijuana and sex has been released, but the other remains in jail. On Monday, Sheriff Chuck Wright announced the arrests of Sarah Jane Lindsay, a teacher at Boiling Springs Elementary School, and Audrey Grabarkiewicz, who was employed at Lake Bowen Baptist Church Daycare. According to Boiling Springs Elementary School’s website, Sarah Lindsay taught 4-year-old child development. Grabarkiewicz was released on $25,000 bond on Wednesday. Lindsay was still being held on a $50,000 bond.

In Nassau County, NY police have charged Stephanie Finnerty -- the wife of ex-Gambino mobster Michael Finnerty -- for allegedly having sex with her daughter's underage high school boyfriend as reported by the New York Post. Durham, N.C. — Gina Marie Watring, who taught at Durham's Creekside Elementary School, pleaded guilty Thursday to having sex with a 10-year-old student. She was sentenced to up to six and a half years in jail, following by three years probation. A former Northwest Rankin High School teacher accused of having sex with a 16-year-old student will not be going to jail, court officials said. Kelly Finn Blossom pleaded guilty on Monday to one count of sexual battery and was given a 20-year suspended sentence along with five years probation, court officials said. Court documents say 43 year old Bernadette Music called 911 a week ago Monday, four to five times, asking two dispatchers if they'd like to go on a date with her. Officials say Music was intoxicated. A former labor union official from Albert Lea has pleaded guilty to embezzling $35,000 from his union. The U.S. Attorney's office says 39-year-old Cory Carroll pleaded guilty Tuesday to one count of theft and embezzlement from a labor organization. Carroll was secretary-treasurer of the Regional and Shortline General Committee of Adjustment at the Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers and Trainmen. He was indicted in April. (CNN) -- A school district in Mississippi has agreed to pay a recent high school graduate $35,000 in damages and adopt a policy prohibiting discrimination based on sexual orientation, according to a statement released Tuesday by the American Civil Liberties Union. The settlement comes after the ACLU sued the school district in Fulton, Mississippi, on behalf of Constance McMillen, a lesbian teen who was told by Itawamba Agricultural High School officials she and her girlfriend would be ejected if they attended the school-sponsored prom.
