Staff on one of the world's most luxurious cruise lines hid more than 15 trolleys of food in cabins to try to avoid it being seen by health protection officers, according to a report into a sudden inspection carried out on board Silversea's Silver Shadow in June. The damning report claimed staff had tried to hide cooked and raw food, including raw meat, cheeses and vegetables as well as kitchen equipment in over 10 cabins shared by two or three galley crew members. Sponsors of that bill said it's aimed at making sure abortion clinics are safe, noting they're not regulated as thoroughly as other health care facilities. But opponents said the bill simply singles out...

For education and discussion only. Not for commercial use. STRASBURG, Pa. -- The meals are not gourmet cuisine, just simple but hearty fare like meat, potatoes, buttered noodles and peas, with shoofly pie typically part of the dessert. Afterward, the Amish hosts may answer questions about their lifestyle or sing a few hymns. For this, the tourists -- who can number between 20 and 50 for dinner -- pay a quot;donation, quot; usually about $12 to $15 each. Such visits can be an instructive, intimate look at how a group of people have maintained their centuries-old traditions. They also can be...
