UMATILLA - A 76-year-old grandmother is in stable condition after she was allegedly raped by a man that had been tasked with her supervision. A Marion County Sheriff's Office spokeswoman said the woman is in the hospital awaiting surgery. Juan Cahuich-Santiago, 29, was charged Tuesday with sexual battery on a special condition victim. The illegal immigrant was being held at the Marion County Jail on Wednesday on no bail.
