An unexpected noise came out of a child's present this Christmas: an Islamic prayer. Instead of whooshing and roaring expected out of a toy F-16 fighter jet bought on Amazon, the toy plays a prayer in Arabic, KING-TV reported. The toy's manufacturer, WolVol, blamed its factory for the mistake, according to the report. "It sounds like an Arabic chanting, which is pretty unusual," Bjorn Thorpe, the boy's uncle, told KING-TV. "I think we're kind of confused on how this would happen." Nadeem Israr, president of the Islamic Society of Whatcom County, told King 5 the sound is a Muslim prayer...

This happened in November. This means it predates the Paris terror attacks, but doesn't make the event any less questionable. Let's face it, folks, we have a government that is falling over itself to try and appease sensitivities of Islam. The White House, for example, refuses to call radical Islam radical Islam. Of course, Barack Obama has said, and I quote: "The future must not belong to those who slander the prophet of Islam." Obama said this during a speech to the United Nations and has never backed down from it. There are a plethora of examples where Washington has...

Chiefs safety Husain Abdullah followed in the footsteps of many other players on Monday night when he celebrated his interception return for a touchdown by going to his knees in prayer. Unlike those other players, Abdullah was penalized for going to the ground under the league’s rules for unsportsmanlike conduct. The only difference between Abdullah and the other players was that Abdullah is Muslim and his prayer therefore looked a bit different than what we’ve seen from others, although that didn’t make it any odder since the NFL doesn’t have rules governing which deity their players are permitted to offer...

Posted: April 15, 2004 1:00 a.m. Eastern © 2004 WorldNetDaily.com A holy war of sorts is heating up in a Detroit suburb, where members of the local Muslim community want loudspeakers on mosques to announce the Islamic call to prayer five times each day. But the idea is running into opposition from other residents of Hamtramck, Mich., many of whom are Christian, who think the prayer calls as early as 6 a.m. and as late as 10 p.m. would be disruptive. "When you call to prayer, you are proselytizing, and as a citizen of the United States I don't want...
