A man in Florida was sentenced on Wednesday for fatally shooting down a Jacksonville police K-9 named Fang as he attempted to escape arrest two years ago. Jhamel Malik Paskel, 19, received a 25-year sentence in Duval County Circuit Court after being tried as an adult after being arrested at 17 on six charges including the shooting of the dog, armed carjacking and kidnapping.
