In her new book Finding My Voice, out April 2, the Obama Foundation adviser takes readers on her journey from growing up in Chicago to being one of the Obamas' most trusted confidants in the White House. Here, she shares with Marie Claire some of the most formative experiences on her path to success. Marie Claire: You lived in Iran until you were five. How did that shape your worldview? Valerie Jarrett: We ended up in Iran because my father, who is African American, was unable to find a job at a teaching medical center in the United States in...

Call it a shakeup or call it a natural turnover halfway through the term, but the White House is preparing for significant change throughout its top ranks. Much of the movement, though, will involve new posts for longtime aides to President Barack Obama. Among the many moves afoot, Tina Tchen, who is responsible for working with outside groups, is preparing to move to the East Wing to serve as First Lady Michelle Obama’s chief of staff, according to two Democrats close to the White House.

Dishonesty and corruption are endemic at the Federal Bureau of Investigation. The latest proof comes in a New York Times report that the FBI initiated an investigation in May of 2017 into whether President Donald Trump was serving as a covert Russian agent. The accusation itself was ludicrous on its face. But from a legal standpoint, the FBI's probe constituted an egregious abuse of power. The Bureau had no probable cause, no evidence, and no reasonable suspicions. They investigated Trump because they could. They defied the law, ignored or perverted facts, and debased the integrity of a heretofore-respected law enforcement...

Liz PeekDecember 30, 2016 Let’s be honest: President Obama is throwing a good old-fashioned foot-stomping world class temper tantrum. He is just beside himself that the stupid American voter elected Donald Trump. How could the country willfully dismiss the erudite recommendation of nearly every news organization in the nation – as well as Obama’s personal plea that not electing Hillary would be a personal insult to him? How could young people not respond to Obama’s call to “bend the arc of history in a better direction?” It is beyond comprehension. But it happened, and Obama is having an extremely difficult...

Following weeks of speculation, outgoing ABC Entertainment president Channing Dungey is officially joining Netflix in a senior leadership role as Vice President of Original Content, reporting to Cindy Holland, Vice President of Original Content. She is expected to start in February. In this newly created role, Dungey will partner with Holland in setting strategy for Netflix’s original series and will oversee a large and key portion of the slate, including some of the company’s overall deals with such top writer-producers as Shonda Rhimes, Jenji Kohan, Kenya Barris, Steven DeKnight, Marti Noxon, as well as Barack and Michelle Obama’s Higher Ground...

Valerie Jarrett: Nancy Pelosi has the toughness Democrats need By Valerie Jarrett Updated 11:44 AM ET, Tue November 13, 2018 Pelosi: I'm the best person to be speaker (CNN)With the midterm elections behind us, Democrats now have the majority in the House of Representatives. But one question remains: Who will lead the body? A Democrat will once again raise the speaker's gavel, and he or she will face the monumental challenge of holding together a new, ideologically diverse majority while negotiating with Republicans. Valerie Jarrett Valerie Jarrett The stakes couldn't be higher. And House Democrats cannot afford to put forward...

Thread by @_ImperatorRex_: "1. Obama, Jarrett and Perez (DNC) mid term strategy is starting to materialize in front of our eyes. Full on civil disobedience, incitement, […]" #MAGA 2. This has been long in the planning. The first indicator was Obama/Jarrett setting up their HQ in DC. The second indicator was Obama's takeover of the DNC, ejecting Keith Ellison, to give Perez full control. All staff were kicked out, presumably replaced by Obama bootlickers. 3. We have seen Obama's people activate their slaves in social media, as well as in the MSM, while courting Hollyweird and Netflix. Their task :...

A former co-worker of Peter Strzok tells Big League Politics about Strzok’s extensive background in the intelligence community, including the fact that he grew up in Iran. Many intelligence officers like Strzok are complete ghosts with questionable history and gaps in their life story. But now we have some insight. (RELATED: Strzok Worked For CIA And FBI At Same Time, According To Document). Peter Strzok was born in the late 1960’s – he attended the American School in Iran up until 1978 when it closed down and then he attended the American School in Saudi Arabia. He supposedly attended a...

Roseanne Barr said she "horribly" regrets sending tweets that many called racist, in an emotional interview released over the weekend. The actress talked to her friend Rabbi Shmuley Boteach last month for his podcast after she was fired and her popular ABC series was canceled. The inside story of how ABC fired Roseanne Barr [snip] The rebooted "Roseanne" was pulled May 29 after a series of bizarre tweets Barr sent. In one, she wrote about former Obama administration official Valerie Jarrett, "Muslim brotherhood & planet of the apes had a baby=vj." Barr appeared to be sobbing as she told Boteach...

Former FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe has requested the Senate Judiciary Committee provide him with immunity from prosecution in exchange for testifying at an upcoming congressional hearing focused on how senior officials at the FBI and Justice Department handled the investigation of Hillary Clinton's private email server, according to a letter obtained by CNN. "Under the terms of such a grant of use immunity, no testimony or other information provided by Mr. McCabe could be used against him in a criminal case," wrote Michael Bromwich, a lawyer for McCabe, to Senate Judiciary Chairman Chuck Grassley, who has requested McCabe testify...

One of the unfortunate side effects of Roseanne’s racist tweet implosion involving Valerie Jarrett is that it may put off limits the documented influence held by the Muslim Brotherhood in the Obama administration, influence that was so great we handed over a loyal ally for a time – Egypt - to its control. The key player in Obama’s administration is of course the Iranian-born Valerie Jarrett. Her role in the Obama administration has been likened to the mysterious Rasputin in the era of the Russian czars: Her influence is shown by an account in Richard Miniter's book "Leading From Behind:...

Dear Valerie Jarrett, You smugly describe Roseanne Barr’s firing from ABC as a “teachable moment”. Exactly what will it teach? And to whom? “Education” implies free will and choice. Obama’s administration was all about coercion. Whether it was socialized medicine, opening America’s borders via executive fiat to give your party more power, seizing control of the Internet, threatening to raise taxes by executive order or threatening to imprison people who disagree with your party on climate change or Islam — it was all about coercion. Coercion and education are opposites, Ms. Jarrett. If nothing else, you should be intelligent enough...

Roseanne Barr is paying for her remarks. Valerie Jarrett remains shielded by the Hopium Smoking Media Chiefs in Chicago and around the nation. From the moment that Democrats like former mayor Richie Daley learned by public housing/public lands and Federal Dollars was the Comstock Load of the New Millenium, Valerie Jarrett has made millions of dollars for herself and the Cook County oligarchs who have destroyed the City, County and State, but are no where near done. Grove Parc is one of the outstanding examples of this problem. It sits on the border of Obama's district. It is 504 apartments...

Valerie Jarrett was born as Valerie Bowman on November 14, 1956, to American parents in Shiraz, Iran. Following is some vital information about several key, extremely radical influences in Jarrett's life. Jarrett's Father Valerie Jarrett's father—an American-born physician named James Bowman (1923-2011)—worked as a pathologist and geneticist at a children’s hospital in Shiraz as part of a U.S. aid program to assist developing countries. He resided in Chicago from approximately 1947-53, precisely when Frank Marshall Davis, the Communist journalist who would later serve as a mentor to a young Barack Obama, launched his Communist Party-line newspaper, the Chicago Star. Bowman...

Unless we assume the FBI went completely rogue, it is inconceivable that the deployments of personnel to spy on the Trump campaign and make provocative contact with its lesser members could have occurred without the full knowledge and control of the occupants of the Oval Office. Obama may claim a scandal-free administration but after Fast and Furious, the targeting of the Tea Party by the IRS, the Benghazi cover-up, Hillary’s emails, to name a few, but spygate is just the latest. I use the plural “occupants” because Barack Hussein Obama many have been nominally the President of the United States,...

There are few things more damaging to the liberal media’s credibility than conflicts of interest and false/fake stories. For CNN, it was the latter on Friday’s New Day as co-host Alisyn Camerota treated former Obama senior adviser Valerie Jarrett to a softball interview, but failed to disclose that Valerie’s daughter (Laura Jarrett) is a CNN Justice correspondent. If CNN wants to lecture Fox News or anyone else in the media about ethics, perhaps it should lead the way in transparency. And, no, it shouldn’t be assumed all viewers are able to make the connection between Laura and Valerie Jarrett. The...

CAMEROTA: “The breaking news that we just had moments ago were the new job numbers, the lowest in anybody’s memory, 3.9 percent unemployment rate. It’s been 15 months of Donald Trump’s presidency. Do you give him credit for that?” JARRETT: “Look, I think we have to look at it over a longer horizon than that. If you think about what the economy was like when President Obama took office, we were losing 750,000 jobs a month. The departure of national security adviser H.R. McMaster and his replacement by former U.N. ambassador John Bolton are both significant and welcome. Bolton will be a team player on Team Trump and not someone with his own agenda who seeks the advice and counsel of those trying to undermine the Trump administration. Leaks such as the one of the memo warning President Trump not to congratulate Vladimir Putin on Putin's re-election will undoubtedly stop, as McMaster and his staff were viewed as the source for many of them.
