A Daly City woman who killed her ex-husband by throwing a pot of boiling water on him while he slept was sentenced to 16 years to life in prison Friday, according to prosecutors. Jesusa Ursula Tatad, 41, was sentenced Friday after pleading no contest on April 3 to a charge of second-degree murder with an enhancement for the use of a deadly weapon, according Chief Deputy District Attorney Karen Guidotti.
