White students were discriminated against at Ryerson University because, ironically, they had never been discriminated against. Two students tried to attend Ryerson’s Racialized Students’ Collective on March 11. However, when Trevor Hewitt and Julia Knope tried to enter, they were told they were “not victims of racialization,” and were thus barred from entering.
