TV Review-"Grey's Anatomy", "Private Practice". One's a bit captivating, one is a story about basically nothing. Both are medial and might keep a viewer's interest. Movie Review-"MegaMind" is a story about good versus evil. Nothing new about this.Except in MegaMind, it gets confusing as to who is evil and who is the good guy. Book Review "The Great Deluge" by David Brinkley. Took me two months to read this book. Bus as a Hurricane Katrina aficionado I had to do it. The book made me realize the REAL reason the aftermath of Katrina was so chaotic. AND it changed my...

In this True Crime post, we’ve got a couple of airplane updates. First, that AirTran flight during which a fine Muslim fellow acted like an asshole and nothing less…we’ve got yet another passenger verifying this story. And I continue to pound on that Northwest Flight 188 which over flew its destination by over 150 miles. Folks, it’s a comedy of errors that will first make you laugh but will leave you crying. And scared out of your gourd to fly. Will Josh Powell join the likes of Scott or Drew Peterson, ie husbands whose wives go missing while they’ve got...

“Planet 51”-an Okay Stereotype Sort of MovieIt was an entertaining enough kind of movie, “Planet 51”, when granddaughter visited. Granddaughter is 5 year old and by my use of the “wiggle” meter, I’d give this film a c+, at best a B-. The “wiggle” meter is my guide as to how the movie being viewed captivates the younger audience, specifically my granddaughter, who is 5 years old and fairly typical. For the movie “UP”, she did not wiggle once. For this movie she began wiggling about halfway through. Other similar types of movies and the mileage varies. The animation...

It’s time for a True Crime post and some updates on the Balloon Boy, Dave Letterman, Murdering Muslims and William Jefferson, DEMOCRAT, Louisiana. New this week we have sexual perversion stories buried in jars on a remote farm, a fine fellow who murders his senile father on a public beach with a bevy of witnesses. Some stupid criminals and much more.

Here’s two movie reviews, raves both of them. They are so different but provide entertainment and thought. We look at the drama of dogs in “Beverly Hills Chihuahua”. It’s totally not believable but it’s a good watch. “Juno” brings a special pang to the heart of this reviewer as I once found myself in a very similar situation to Juno. But I would never have made the same choice as the quirky Juno. Read the rave review and the personal story that had me and mine going such a different route.

Vanity to my Blog. Here for the first time, the new car perfect for Government Motors…INC…the CZAR CAR! With picture! Also, he/she is eight years old and his/her parents let him/her live like the sex he/she was not born to. Is this right or wrong? Bernie Madoff turns out to be quite the party guy, Obama’s justice department doesn’t trust the local voters, much more. It’s Halloween. Some of our pets dressed for the occasion. Pics! All in this week’s THOUGHTS post.

Thoughts on an Air Force One photoshop contest proving that the scare over New York did NOT have to happen. Arlen gone, Biden gaffes, what's a bigwig and how did the name come about? This and intriguing comments all ending with a smile.

In Thoughts, we've got Obama shirtless and right there you must tune in. Plus, heh, the Good Guy of the Week with a sarcastic reasons why Dick Cheney made Obama look like a fool this past week. Also, Quip of the Week and You Can't Make This Stuff Up…much more.

"Saving Mom From Uncle Guido" is a fiction story from "Mystery and Mirth, excerpted for yon enjoyment. For the Micky Mouse head helped her overhear the murder plot and the door disguise helped her stop it in its tracks. It's short and a smile.

We've got video and pic montages of the Georgetown Delaware tea party on 4/15/09, which I attended. Also, a rant and bad guy of the week, only she's a woman and she's the reason I will never trust Barack Obama again. A quip of the week from granddaughter, lots of smiles and sarcasm from last week's tea parties and yes, we have a Good Guy of the Week as well.

He studied how to be a clown at clown school. He farted regularly during rehearsal. He got a point total of FOUR, the lowest ever given by a judge on Dancing With the Stars. He stayed way longer than he should have. Also, the dark horse in this 2009 competition and a guess at the winners as we review Rumba/Jive night on Dancing With the Stars 2009. All with pics and video you'll find nowhere else on the Internet.

It was "Movie" night on American Idol 09 and the mentor was most unusual, yes he was. The judges saved the contender voted off and thank God politicians don't have this option. For who they saved could never win unless at least four other contenders suddenly die. And could Simon be, as he is often accused, trying to influence the outcome of this thing? All with pics and video you'll find nowhere else on the Internet.

Right here we’ve got the first Michelle Obama fashion show along with my excellent commentary. It’s not all bad but she’s no sophisticated and stylishly understated Laura Bush. For sure she’s no Jackie Kennedy as the gushing Lamestream mavens would have you believe. Plenty of pics, the good, the bad, the ugly. Also, Obamerisms from the past week, tea party updates, my cute nephew Matthew Fish, solid proof that global warming is a joke and ending with a smile on this Easter Sunday Blog post.

Couple of TV reviews this week. First-“The Unusuals”, a cop show that should appeal to both men and women with its, eh, unusual cops, humorous storylines, and very believable scripting. Second-“Surviving Suburbia” with he who looks like the guy most likely to live in this suburbia we are to believe he despises, his hip and happening self, Bob Saget. I go into a rant about this dumb show and my rants are not to be missed. Finally an update on “The Celebrity Apprentice” of 4/5/09, viral videos, over-exposure of those Rivers people, and scripting too dumb to believe. =============== Other...

Tina Fey is an angry woman and it shows, unfortunately, in her acting in the film “Baby Mama”, reviewed in this Blog post. The movie has its funny moments but it’s no great paean to thought and morals, make no mistake. It’s definitely a chick flick, let us not mislead. The biggest surprise is the role played by Steve Martin! ==================== Other Blog posts this week: There were a few surprises in the bottom three on American's Idol Birthday night-4/7/09. In fact, the contender sent packing was only following the advice of vaunted Judge Abdul. A review of AI 09's...
