RUSH: Talk about how things have changed, in my first year, sometime between August of 1988 and September of 1989, there was a woman that called here, and she’s a big fan, and she was scared to death that I was going to be arrested for some of the things I was saying about the Kennedys, in public. And she was serious. We were playing a song, a parody of The Wanderer, by DiMucci, Dion DiMucci, called <>a href=https://www.rushlimbaugh.com/videos/?groupId=5&episodeId=0?autoplay=true#!/38/27071/The-Philanderer>The Philanderer, sung by Ted Kennedy, and this woman was scared to death I was gonna get arrested. • Hollywood Made a Great Movie About a Kennedy Tragedy

Conservatives’ expectations for honest and fair movies coming out of Hollywood are understandably low.  For decades now we have been brow-beaten and lectured by clueless celebrities on everything from saving the Spotted Owl to gun control – the latest flavor of the moment. But a breath of fresh air is blowing in from the left coast. The new movie ‘Chappaquiddick,’ from Entertainment Studios and Apex Entertainment, is a brutally honest recounting of one of America’s greatest public tragedies: the death of Mary Jo Kopechne in a car owned and driven by Sen. Ted Kennedy (D-Mass.)Producer Mark Ciardi has a winner, and...
  • Possible Justice Kennedy retirement would give Trump opportunity to tilt Supreme Court to right

Supreme Court Justice Anthony Kennedy might retire from the bench as early as this summer, a GOP senator said, and if true, President Trump would be able to nominate a justice who could tilt the nation’s highest court well to the right for the foreseeable future. "I believe that we're going to have another Supreme Court justice this year," Heller said. "I think that Kennedy is going to retire some time early summer. That being the case, Republicans are going to have another opportunity to put another Supreme Court justice in place, which I am hoping will get our base...
  • GOP senator: Justice Kennedy is going to retire this summer

Sen. Dean Heller (R-Nev.) said in a speech last week he believes Supreme Court Justice Anthony Kennedy will retire this summer, according to audio of the speech obtained by Politico. “Kennedy is going to retire around sometime early summer,” Heller said in the speech, according to Politico. “Which I’m hoping will get our base a little motivated because right now they’re not very motivated. But I think a new Supreme Court justice will get them motivated.” Heller is facing a tough GOP primary ahead of the 2018 midterms as Las Vegas businessman Danny Tarkanian challenges Heller for the Republican nomination.

For a party trying to float by on feminist hashtags and regain lost blue collar voters, a Kennedy seemed an odd choice to give the rebuttal to the State of the Union. And that was before they put him in front of a wrecked car. Yet, even though the speech was a farrago of platitudes given by a wholly undeserving trustfunder who appeared to be drooling and was attired like a freshman high school athlete dressing up for game day, this was a Kennedy, after all — which meant the media had to find something to praise him for. And...
  • Vanity - Trump garners 47.9 million USA viewers for SOTU address.

It is estimated that POTUS, DJT gathered 47.9 million "USA" viewers for his first SOTU speech on Tuesday evening. That number, by the way, does not include foreign country viewers across the world or the hundreds of live feeds, of C-Span, Right Side Broadcasting, etc. The true estimate number is calculated to be somewhere between 55-60 million viewers across the world and on "Live Screen". That is an enormous "successful" number, that does include those folks that listened to the SOTU on radio, etc., across the world. Now.....I have searched the entire internet to find the "massive numbers" (only kidding)...

Rep. Joe Kennedy (D-Mass.), a rising star in the Democratic Party, was tapped to respond to President Trump’s first State of the Union (SOTU) Address, an opportunity riddled with perils and potential. The State of the Union response can be a make-or-break opportunity for young, ambitious politicians.Although State of the Union Addresses are typically too slow-moving for many Americans, they remain one of the most watched political events of the year, and the response to the State of the Union is the minority party’s opportunity to provide an alternative vision for the future of the country. What we learned in Kennedy’s...

Rep. JOE KENNEDY III [D-Massachusetts]: America, we carry that story on our shoulders. You swarmed to Washington last year to ensure that no parent has to worry if they can afford to save their child's life. You proudly marched together last weekend thousands deep on the streets of Las Vegas and Philadelphia and Nashville. You sat high atop our mom's shoulders and held a sign that read "Build a wall and my generation will tear it down."

Marco Rubio had his awkward pause for a gulp of water. Joe Kennedy had his ... drool? The Democratic congressman's mouth corners appeared especially shiny during his response to President Donald Trump’s State of the Union address — and many online were quick to accuse him of drooling during his address. The alternative theory was an overzealous application of lip balm. “Marco Rubio had dry-mouth during his #SOTU response in 2013. Joe Kennedy has drool-mouth,” tweeted Frank Luntz, the prominent Republican pollster. >>>More...

What to say, folks? Not much, one thing, for sure, is now certain, there will be no "Democrat Blue Wave" come November, this year. You must really admit, The Kenyan, Muslim, America Hater, Obama did a magnificent job in undoing & destroying the entire Democrat Party. I mean, come on, glum faced, speechless, Democrats, Chuck Schumer, Nancy Pelosi, The "Kennedy Drooler" cheering on a massive crowd of about 100 deadbeats from wherever and, who knows, "only God knows" where Maxine Waters, "The Black Racist CBC, Trump Hater, ranter & raver could be found. Newton, MA – U.S. House Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi and U.S. Senate Democratic Leader Charles E. Schumer today announced that Congressman Joe Kennedy III will deliver the Democratic response to President Donald Trump’s joint address to Congress next week.   “From health care to economic justice to civil rights, the Democratic agenda stands in powerful contrast to President Trump's broken promises to American families," said Congressman Kennedy. Lookee...lookee, lookee, well, what do we have here? Democrat, Congresswoman, Maxine Waters & Democrat, Congressman, Joe Kennedy are all set to give response speeches, after, POTUS, Donald J. Trump delivers his SOTU speech next week. Democrats, now, in full panic mode, are really reaching the "bottom-of-barrel", so to speak. Trump's words will be watched and heeded by millions of Americans and interested, people from all over and across the world. The words uttered by these low level, Democrat "Back Benchers" will be viewed & heard, by very few Americans and few people around the world, and, certainly heeded by none....

Supreme Court justices Anthony Kennedy and Ruth Ginsburg have announced plans to keep hiring law clerks for the next few years, which means they aren't retiring any time soon. Ginsburg, affectionately known by her fans as the "Notorious RBG," has already hired four clerks for the October 2018 term and four clerks for the October 2019 term, which ends in June 2020, according to CNN.  The news hints that Ginsburg is planning to stay on for the coinciding terms. Meanwhile, Kennedy's recent law clerk hires are also telling. According to Above the Law, which first reported the law clerk news, he's selected four clerks for...
  • This Time, Not for Prestige: The Space Race in the 21st Century

Today, operations in space are more routine and the competition between states is more diffuse. While generally still important in international politics, prestige plays only a small role in the current international dynamic. To be clear: There is still competition between the U.S. and rising powers. However, unlike the Cold War, which was a battle of opposing political philosophies, here we see competition primarily over economic and strategic opportunity. Another significant difference between the Cold War space race and the current one is that the playing field isn’t level as it was during the Cold War. The U.S. today has...

“We’re cutting off money for schools, cutting off money for police, allowing people to be forced to live in food deserts, closing hospitals, closing access to mental health facilities,” Kennedy told reporters during a news conference that began as a criticism of the city’s efforts to stop gun violence. What choice do people have but to move, to leave, and I think that’s part of a strategic gentrification plan being implemented by the city of Chicago to push people of color out of the city,” he continued. Asked who is behind this alleged plan, Kennedy pointed to Emanuel. “I believe...

It is almost as though Joey Gargan decided to slip away before anyone noticed. And the funny thing about it is that he succeeded. So, Ted Kennedy cousin Joseph F. “Joey” Gargan, who was Kennedy’s close companion, won’t be around to answer any questions about “Chappaquiddick,” the upcoming film about the late Sen. Ted Kennedy and the death of Mary Jo Kopechne. Joey, 87, who was at Kennedy’s side that fateful night, died at his Virginia home December 12 and hardly anybody made the connection to Kennedy and Chappaquiddick

Teddy's description of the Chappaquiddick "accident" was enough to convict him of involuntary and voluntary manslaughter and reckless endangerment. Today you can add homicide by vehicle while intoxicated, a mandatory three-year prison term in most states. The facts are simple. Kennedy drove fast, probably drunk, off a bridge at about 11:30 P.M. The pond was only about six feet deep. The front end of the car was angled down. Kennedy walked away, went to his hotel, and waited until the next morning to report to the police. The car was discovered by two boys fishing in the morning. The boys,...
