Former President Donald Trump's "Save America" political action committee has more cash on hand than the Republican National Committee (RNC) and the Democratic National Committee (DNC) combined, according to financial data from the Federal Election Commission (FEC). Kenneth Vogel, a journalist with The New York Times, noted the disparity between Trump's PAC and the committees' funds in a tweet on Monday. Vogel said that FEC records show Save America reported $110.4 million in cash on hand as of February 28, compared to the DNC's $52.9 million and the RNC's $24.5 million.

The Times sued after STATE allegedly slow-walked a records request. A NYT lawyer said the State Department will start handing over records in April. "The parties are still negotiating the number of pages to be processed in and the frequency of each production," McGraw wrote, "and propose to provide a status report to the Court March 25, 2022, of the results of this negotiation." In a court filing Friday, David McCraw, wrote that the State Dept had begun identifying records the Times requested and agreed to give them to the Times starting in April. "The State Department has started identifying...

Candidates’ aides and allies want anti-Trump vendors barred from lucrative general-election contracts. Donald Trump’s campaign is considering hitting his Republican enemies where it hurts: Their wallets. As Trump moves to work in closer concert with the Republican National Committee apparatus, some campaign aides and allies are pushing him to block lucrative party contracts from consultants who worked to keep him from winning the nomination, according to four sources familiar with the discussions. “The Never Trump vendors and supporters shouldn’t be in striking distance of the RNC, any of its committees or anyone working on behalf of Donald Trump,” said a...

Glenn Beck worked the crowd like a preacher at a rally this month in Louisville, Ky., declaring that God had responded to conservatives’ prayers by sending a slate of tea party candidates to wrest control of the Republican Party from Mitch McConnell. But there was a more earthly benefit to the arrangement that brought Beck to the rally. It was organized by the tea party nonprofit group FreedomWorks, which had endorsed the candidates — and which has paid more than $6 million in recent years to have Beck promote the group, its initiatives and events. ..............

New Hampshire primary: Where's the tea party? By KENNETH P. VOGEL | 1/9/12 4:32 AM EST Updated: 1/9/12 3:11 PM EST New Hampshire might seem like ground zero for a tea party offensive. But ahead of the Republican primary Tuesday, there’s no sign that the populist conservative movement is poised to shape the presidential results in the “Live Free or Die” state — or anywhere else, for that matter.Instead, activists in the Granite State have divided their loyalties — and even seem resigned to seeing their sworn enemy Mitt Romney win his second straight victory. The situation in New Hampshire and across...

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh. But of course. You knew there had to be more. Can you say "George Soros"???? The Media Research Center's Dan Gainor, the MRC VP for Business and Culture, points out an interesting fact about Politico's Ken Vogel. We've posted here and here and here about the saga of the fake talk radio scandal. Pointing out that these stories are coming from Politico "reporter" Vogel who seems to have, as Jeff Poor over at The Daily Caller politely termed it, a "lefty" agenda.
