One picture and several links. Note that on the Volcano LiveCams page, you can also see volcano cams around the world. Due to the report about Mt. St. Helens that happened over the weekend, I checked the St. Helens cam; and according to the picture on that page, it's supposed to be up on "Monday, September 28, 2004". Somebody did NOT realize that this was a leap year, apparently. So maybe it will be up by tomorrow in case St. Helens burps. This looks like Hawaii, but it's not (currently the Kilauea eruption does not have active ocean entries). This is the ocean entry of the lava flow from Piton de la Fournaise volcano on the island of La Reunion in the Indian Ocean (featured a couple of weeks ago because it also has spectacular waterfalls). So right now it has both spectactular waterfalls and lavafalls. Click the linked source above for a page with several additional javascripted images of the eruption. Two of them are aerial photographs apparently showing the lava flow crossing the ring road around the island.

I haven't posted Kilauea volcano pictures for a little while, but the eruption just keeps on going and going. It had been sending lava onto the coastal flats, so there hadn't been any recent ocean entries, but a fairly large flow called the 'Banana' flow reached the ocean yesterday. I've posted two nice pictures, but for fans of molten lava, there are a lot of new ones on the linked site above.
