This is what Ginni Thomas read in her statement to the January 6 committee: "First, I want to thank the Committee for your patience as I recovered from hip replacement surgery." "Second, I am here voluntarily to answer questions about my activities regarding the 2020 election, which, I think you will find were minimal and mainstream." "However, as my counsel has expressed, I am concerned that there may be more than a few questions about my husband’s work, which I do not believe is within the scope of this committee’s jurisdiction." "Since I was the Nebraska College Republican Chair in...

North Korean state media reported on Friday that dictator Kim Jong-un signed a law making the Communist tyranny’s march to nuclear weapons “irreversible,” banning all further denuclearization talks with the outside world, and mandating an immediate nuclear attack if Kim or other top officials is harmed by foreign powers. The new legislation, passed by the rubber-stamp “Supreme People’s Assembly” on Thursday, supersedes a 2013 law that laid out North Korea’s nuclear ambitions in less belligerent terms. Among other differences, the 2013 law did not specify conditions under which North Korea would initiate a nuclear war without hesitation.

CLAIM: President Joe Biden said that Republican political leaders were not only predicting, but calling for “rioting in the streets.” VERDICT: FALSE. No Republican leader called for violence; Biden, again, apparently misquoted Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC).

French President Emmanuel Macron, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, and Italian Prime Minister Mario Draghi travelled together on a special Ukrainian train originally created for holidaying oligarchs, just the latest world leaders to have made the pilgrimage to Kyiv to meet with President Volodymyr Zelensky. European leaders of France, Germany, Italy, and Romania coalesced in Kyiv, Ukraine Thursday to meet with President Volodymyr Zelensky. The meeting may represent a thawing, in a sense, of relations between France and Ukraine, which has been strained over President Macron’s longstanding attempts to negotiate with Russia.

Vice President Kamala Harris said Friday on MSNBC’s “The ReidOut” that there must be consequences for anyone, including elected leaders, involved in the January 6, 2021 riot at the U.S. Capitol. Anchor Joy Reid said, “Let’s talk about our democracy here because we’re struggling with our democracy. As we all know, there was an insurrection, attempted coup. I don’t think there is another way to describe it that took place last year. And as we get more information about what happened and who was behind it, we’re finding out there were members of Congress who were complicit. There were United...

Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelenskyy declared martial law Thursday and announced the country had severed diplomatic ties with Russia after the giant neighboring nation launched a military invasion into Ukraine. Beijing on Thursday refused to criticize Russia's attack on Ukraine, instead calling for a diplomatic solution. China also approved the importation of Russian wheat, a move that could blunt the effects of sanctions levied on the Kremlin. South Korea will sanction Russia over its attack on Ukraine, President Moon Jae-in said Thursday, according to South Korea's Yonhap News Agency.

CNN contributor Paul Begala went to bat for President Biden, making the case that the problem for Democrats isn't with those at the top of the party. On the subject of Biden's failing efforts to get voting bills passed in Congress, Begala was asked to react to a quote from Arndrea Waters King, daughter-in-law to Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., who told Politico, "What we’ve seen with President Biden is what happens when he puts his full force and power behind an issue like infrastructure. What we want to see is that same power and passion being put behind voting...

First, let me get this out of the way: My posts are NOT for everyone! Last night a friend called and yelled at me, saying I have bad motives for posting some of the things I do. I didn’t have this answer then, but it came to me now. There’s a simple way to see if what I say is true–focus on the actual content and not what you think my motives are. Or, ask yourself if I have a history of lying to you. If I don’t, then perhaps what I say has credibility. Is that fair? But if...

Greta Thunberg criticized world leaders for not acting on so-called “climate change” in a tirade to fellow COP26 protesters on Monday. The Daily Mail reported: Government representatives have gathered in Glasgow to discuss green issues this week, with Prime Minister Boris Johnson using his opening address to compare the situation to James Bond trying to diffuse a ‘doomsday device’. US President Joe Biden, Germany’s Angela Merkel and President Emmanuel Macron of France are among those gathering at the event in an attempt to foster international cooperation on climate change. While speaking at a protest in Festival Park on the first...
