After considering numerous dog breeds, the Obama family is bearing down on an April deadline to get a dog promised to first daughters Malia and Sasha. MinuteGal is awaiting surgery - routine, I think - but is having other health problems involving infection, etc., holding off surgery. She is not feeling well and trying to keep it together at home... just got out of a week in hospital with high fever.
