I see young people interviewed on television who can't even articulate the reason they are protesting. Others bent on destruction who probably espouse no cause but chaos. I've seen hysterical protestors screaming about First Amendment rights which they seem to think only protects them and those who think like them and that the opposition has no first amendment protection and should be shouted down at all costs. The rhetoric is becoming hotter and more nonsensical, the radical element more apparent, the violence and destruction of property more common place. The pot is boiling and it’s only a matter of time...

A new book details the progressive movement’s reliance on eugenics and race science as well as its effort to exclude the disabled, blacks, immigrants, the poor, and women from full participation in American society. The words “progress” and “progressive” evoke images of enlightened reformers selflessly promoting justice and overcoming ignorance and bigotry. I guarantee, however, that anyone who reads Thomas C. Leonard’s new book, “Illiberal Reformers: Race, Eugenics, & American Economics in the Progressive Era,” will be troubled—and, in many cases, shocked—by some of the motivations of the late nineteenth- and early twentieth-century progressives who sought to dismantle the American...

Shocking video shows Trump supporter knocked unconscious 'with something metallic' during airport immigration protest A Donald Trump supporter was knocked unconscious and suffered concussion after he was hit during a protest at Portland International Airport. Remember Marie Harf? She served as President Obama's Deputy State Department spokeswoman from July 2013 to May 2015, often providing the press updates on the White House's efforts to combat terror abroad. One of the most memorable moments of her tenure, however, was in 2015 when she told MSNBC's Chris Matthews that the U.S. could not defeat ISIS by killing them and suggested that poverty is what led terrorists to the battlefield in the first place. She received plenty of criticism for the remark, but shrugged it off by saying they were simply too "nuanced." Following her highly public role...

In the short clip, his wife, Vanessa, is seen bowling — heels and all! “Family bowling session at The White House. [VanessaTrump] doing pretty well considering she’s in heels,” Trump Jr tweeted. The bowling alley is used more by White House staffers, Secret Service and the occasional party loyalist than presidents. It’s not clear if former President Barack Obama ever used the lane, though he reportedly spent his 48th birthday bowling at Camp David. Obama did catch grief for a plan...

Please understand, she didn’t tell this in hushed tones of grief and sorrow. That’s why Twitter is acrawl with the #ShoutYourStatus hashtag, in honor of April being STD Awareness Month: Seems to me that with the virally disproportionate spread of STDs among practitioners of sodomy, it would make more sense to “raise awareness” about the natural consequences of sexual promiscuity during June, which President Obama regularly dubs “LGBT Pride Month.” Nonetheless, and speaking of pride and promiscuity, you oughta head on over to Twitter and...

It is a proven fact that specialized and preferential programming based on skin color has not worked. It is has instead fomented acrimony, resentment and a divided America. With that factoid in mind, can anything more be done to poison the minds of blacks against America and specifically whites in America? Apparently, Theodore R. Forget the possibility of the enemy at the gates. The enemy has breached the gates. The enemy is within. The enemy is in Washington, D.C., and in Ferguson, Missouri. The ideology that has grabbed a hold of Ferguson is the same one that destroyed Detroit. Black Nationalism. Imagine mixing a little Marxism, a generous portion of Islamism, and throwing in bits and pieces of class envy, class warfare, and a compromised version of Christianity that Jesus Christ would fail to recognize, stir it all together with a generous portion of anger and hate thrown in, and you’ve got Black Nationalism.

To those who buy the romanticized image of labor unions - those brave champions of the working man who work day and night to protect the best interests of just plain folks against the robber barons in the boardrooms and the plush corporate offices - it’s hard to conceive of why anyone would not want to join the United Auto Workers. Democrats who hate right-to-work laws in states that have them deride said laws as “right to work for less.” You dumbasses! Why would you not join the union when it’s going to get you more money and protect you...

Thousands gathered Saturday for a second day of organized rallies and marches protesting Michael Brown’s death and other fatal police shootings in the St. Louis area and nationwide. The events remained peaceful but boisterous gatherings into the night. Vietnam-era peace activists, New York City seminarians and hundreds of fast-food workers bused in from Chicago, Nashville and other cities marched alongside local residents, spurred by a national campaign dubbed Ferguson October.
  • Blatant intolerance of the 'tolerant' left

To prove my point, I have compiled a list of yummy quotes from a website called What Liberals Say, highlighting the extreme intolerance of the “tolerant” left, beginning with Vice President Joe Biden. Do Biden’s racist remarks represent intolerance? Yes, considering what would happen if a Republican had said anything similar. Joe Biden’s racist statement about Obama: “I mean you’ve got the first mainstream African-American who is articulate and bright and clean and a nice-looking guy. I mean that’s a storybook, man.”

Today marks 47 years since the death of Marxist revolutionary Che Guevara—an international terrorist responsible for the murder of thousands of innocent people. Despite Che’s murderous history, the Left continues to glorify and idolize him. Images of Che’s face can be seen on t-shirts, coffee mugs, keychains, and sweatshirts—ironic because he wasn’t a proponent of free-markets. Students walk around their campuses wearing shirts with Che’s image on it, yet they have no idea of the atrocities he committed. Unfortunately, most students either ignore this part of his story or are never truly informed about his actions. Every year Young America’s...

Democrats may not be quite as smart as they think they are. That’s the conclusion of a new Pew Research Center for the People and the Press survey that posed a dozen questions about current events. Republicans emerged as the most informed in the poll. President Obama and his party prefer to think of Republicans as hayseeds who cling bitterly to guns and religion, but it turns out blue-state residents who get their news from National Public Radio aren’t as tuned in to what’s happening in the rest of the world.By a wide margin, Republicans proved more likely to know...
  • A troubling question on GOP race to re-take Senate

As the mid-term election approaches, there is increasing focus on Senate races. Real Clear Politics shows these states as toss-ups: Alaska, Arkansas, Colorado, Georgia, Iowa, Kansas, Louisiana, New Hampshire, and North Carolina. (Michigan flips back and forth from being a toss up to leaning Dem.) If you look at the map with no toss ups, it shows the GOP winning anywhere from 50-52 seats. But if you look at the polling margin that pushes a state into one column or the other (Dem or GOP), you can see how fragile the situation is. We have some candidates leading by as...

When describing my ill thoughts to someone recently about Harry Reid, the person asked me: “Who is worse -- Barack Obama or Harry Reid?” My immediate answer was Harry Reid. I can understand someone taking a different position on that question. Let me explain why there is no one I have ever loathed more in American government than Senator Harry Reid (D-NV), who hereafter will be referred to as the nickname I gave him years ago – The Undertaker.

The media celebrated Friday as the Department of Labor announced a “surge of hiring” – 248,000 new jobs added in September. The unemployment rate has now dropped to 5.9 percent. The Labor Department also revised upward the jobs numbers from July and August, adding 69,000 jobs; that puts the last three months of job growth at 671,000. The Associated Press, among others, speculates that the Federal Reserve may now talk about raising interest rates. But all is not well in the real economy. Here are five indicators that despite the rosy picture being painted of the Obama economy, things still...
