I know that unions are traditionally associated with democrats and I was hoping to get some opinions on whats currently going down in Huntsville "Rocket City", Alabama right now. The IAM is passing out fliers and picketing with signs at Blue Origins 1100 Explorer Blvd Rocket Engine plant trying to get employees signatures. Personally, I'm against it and was just wondering how people here my feel on the topic.

Special counsel David Weiss urged the judge overseeing the Delaware-based federal gun case against Hunter Biden not to allow the defense to delay proceedings in a pointed motion filed late Friday. On Wednesday, attorneys for President Joe Biden’s son asked to indefinitely stay proceedings pending the outcome of an appeal with the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit — imploring U.S. District Judge Maryellen Noreika not to “plow ahead in scheduling a trial.” In that request, the younger Biden characterized the government’s efforts to move forward with the case as “unlawful and illogical.” On Friday, Weiss shot back...

Fifty women have been randomly attacked by strangers so far this year in the lower half of Manhattan, an NYPD official said. “The trend that I’m getting from the people that we’re arresting, the majority of them are homeless, the majority of them seem like they need some kind of help with mental illness,” Chief of Detectives Joseph Kenny said at One Police Plaza Tuesday. Most of the attacks don’t appear to be copycats and cops don’t consider them a trend, Kenny said.

New Jersey Sen. Bob Menendez’s wife has confided in friends that she is convinced she will go to prison because she is short of money for legal representation, The Post has learned. Nadine Arslanian, the Democrat’s second wife, faces up to 45 years in prison if convicted on bribery and corruption charges when she goes on trial in July. Her attorneys withdrew from her case earlier this month after successfully having her trial put off until July because she has “a serious medical condition” — leaving her without a defense team. Now multiple members of her social circle have told...

Hunter Biden is asking appellate courts in both of his criminal cases to consider dismissing his tax and gun charges, according to court documents. Biden asked the 3rd Circuit Court of Appeals on Wednesday to hear his arguments for dismissal after a judge in Delaware denied Biden’s requests to drop three felonies related to a 2018 gun purchase. Biden had argued to Judge Maryellen Noreika that his charges should be dropped by claiming that a since-withdrawn plea agreement was actually active and had immunized him from being charged; that special counsel David Weiss, who is overseeing Biden’s prosecutions, was inappropriately...

A housing advocacy group is slamming Denver’s new Asylum Seekers Program as “insufficient” and “a slap in the face,” even staging a protest to voice their disapproval — as the city spends tens of millions of dollars on migrant aid and slashes its emergency services budget to stave off insolvency in the wake of the influx. The surge of new arrivals has thrown the Mile High City’s city’s budget into a tailspin. More than 40,000 migrants have found their way to Denver since December 2022 — more per capita than any other US city — at a total cost of...

Resident Ashraff Schwartz said police pursued the hippo into the yard of his family's home. "My 74-year-old mom watched from inside the house, very scared, as the hippo came straight for our door. The police were standing outside the yard," he told Independent...

An Indianapolis mother has been found not guilty of neglectfully smothering her child to death - as a judge shockingly said he would have found her guilty of involuntary manslaughter or reckless homicide. Dacia Lacey, 32, walked free after a judge ruled that prosecutors brought inappropriate charges of neglect of a dependent resulting in death, contending they didn't prove she killed her two-month-old daughter Alona on purpose. The mother admitted to police that she smothered the infant with couch cushions while she was high on methamphetamines so she could 'get some sleep' in August 2022. She wept in court this...
