Police in Marble Falls are investigating what appears to be an attempted kidnapping of a 13-year-old girl. Police say the teenager was found unconscious in her neighbor’s yard on the city’s west side around 3:50 a.m. Sunday. When she regained consciousness, the girl told police she snuck out of her home and was kidnapped by two men in a truck. While in the truck, she said she heard the men saying she was “too young” and they decided to let her go, but not before hitting her in the head and rendering her unconscious.

Cell phones stopped working along with first responder radios. KXAN also confirmed the 911 call centers in Marble Falls, Burnet and Llano were knocked offline and the Burnet County Sheriff's Office dispatchers started fielding all calls.
