Why, after all this time, has no one gone up to the FISA judge (or judges) and asked how much of a contribution was the "dossier" towards the decision to approve the warrant application?

Catching up on earlier interviews, Devin Nunes appeared this morning on Fox News morning to discuss the release of Adam Schiff’s minority memo to defend FISA abuse. Chairman Nunes reminds everyone of two key points: #1) the FBI and DOJ have to own up to what happened, regardless of consequence, and then commit to structural reform; and #2) the vast majority of U.S. media participated in the conspiracy through their participation with the Clinton-Steele Dossier and promotion of leaks from ideologues within the intelligence community. Therefore the same media cannot be expected to expose the corruption they helped create.

House Intelligence Commmittee Chairman Devin Nunes was ready to go with his own response to the Democrats’ memo that I have embedded in the adjacent post. I have uploaded his point-by-point response to Scribd and embedded it below. It is a useful document. Moreover, by contrast with Adam Schiff et al., Nunes is a credible player. Consistent with my comments, he notes some of the Democrats’ rebuttals of points not made by the Republicans. In any event, here is his response.

The Grassley and Graham Memo has just been released, but the Democrats do not want the public to know. Chuck Grassley and Lindsey Graham have been working tirelessly to uncover the truth concerning the Trump dossier/FISA Warrant debacle. The Mainstream News Media does not seem to be reporting on it. What are we to make of the GOP and Democrats' dueling scandal wars? So much information, so little time. We'll have to wait until special counsel Robert Mueller completes his investigation to be sure, but I don't believe there's any credible evidence that Donald Trump colluded with Russia to affect the presidential election.
