New York State’s Attorney General Letitia James is targeting businesses, such as the major beef producer JBS USA, for alleged environmental misrepresentations. The lawsuit accuses JBS of increasing beef production during a climate crisis and failing to adhere to environmental regulations, including driving deforestation in the Amazon. “We will cut our own emissions by 30% in 2030 and eliminate Amazon deforestation from our supply chain within five years,” James’ office stated. ames seeks penalties and criticizes JBS for misleading consumers on sustainability. “When companies falsely advertise their commitment to sustainability, they are misleading consumers and endangering our planet.” “JBS USA’s...

Democrat President Joe Biden’s administration signed a global agreement with twelve other nations, including Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Chile, and Spain, to crack down on farming to “save the planet” from “climate change.” If it’s like the plan implemented throughout the Western World, it will crush American farmers. As the World Bank warns of famines, they plan to restrict farmers over methane gas emissions. The UN and World Economic Forum also warn of famines. It’s the famine they seem sure to cause if we abide by these agreements. Symbols of American farming: tractor and flag on summer day Biden’s “climate czar,”...

Since initially reporting on California's Alison Canyon gas leak, more details have emerged on the scale (and potential for no solution) of the problem as the infamous Erin Brockovich writes, "the enormity of the Aliso Canyon gas leak cannot be overstated. Gas is escaping through a ruptured pipe more than 8,000 feet underground, and it shows no signs of stopping," as according to the California Air Resources Board, methane - a greenhouse gas 72 times more impactful in the atmosphere than carbon dioxide - has been escaping from the Aliso Canyon site with force equivalent “to a volcanic eruptionâ€...

"The Bermuda Triangle, known to some as the Devil's Triangle, has been the area of numerous mysterious disappearances over the years. What truly baffles the world is that both planes and ships have gone missing. What is powerful and dangerous enough to sink ships and take planes out of the sky?......" .....;

Here's another entry from the "there is some stuff to weird to make-up" department. Apparently once again, the world is in huge danger from global warming, not caused by humans, this time the danger is coming from microbe flatulence. According to scientists, microbes living under ice sheets in Antarctica and Greenland may be releasing large quantities of the greenhouse gas methane, just ready to burst through the ice, trap the sunlight and heat up the atmosphere.

The environmentalist assault on economic growth resembles the old shell game practiced by con artists for centuries. Just when you're sure the pea will appear at the right, it shows up in the middle. Place your bet on the middle, and the pea appears somewhere else. For decades now, alarmists have claimed that CO2 emissions are warming the earth past the "tipping point" and that only extreme reductions in the use of fossil fuels can avert catastrophe. Yet the earth today is less warm than it was in the middle ages, a period in which it cannot be claimed that...

I have come to the conclusion that after reading the story on methane burping lakes in Alaska, (video accompanies the article) which was posted on the Anchorage Daily News, there is a little bit of a mischievous, natural scientist in all of us. For those of us who as adolescents, conducted an experiment using a match or lighter on a close friend who had chili or beans for dinner, we know the outcome of the mischievous scientific experiment on a willing friend. Singed pants.

LOS ANGELES (AP) - Scientists have discovered an undersea deposit of frozen methane just off the Southern California coast, but whether it can be harnessed as a potential energy source is unknown. The size of the deposit is unknown but the researchers believe it to be substantial. In recent years, there has been a growing interest in tapping methane hydrates, ice-like crystals that form under seabeds and Arctic permafrost. Scientists estimate that the methane trapped in previously known frozen reservoirs around the globe could power the world for centuries. But finding the technology to mine such deposits has proved elusive....

PARIS - Saturn's largest moon apparently is lashed regularly by rain made of liquid methane, forming pools, cutting river beds and eroding rocks in much the same way that forces have shaped the Earth, scientists said. The European Space Agency's probe that landed on Titan's frozen surface a week ago put Europe's stamp on the distant reaches of the solar system with its discoveries of a mysterious, methane-rich globe. snip On Earth, methane is a flammable gas. On Titan, it is a liquid because of the intense pressure and cold - 274 degrees below zero. snip The river beds are...

SPECIAL REPORT: ALTERNATIVE ENERGY POWERS UP Turning Manure into Black Gold As oil prices soar, innovative ways of converting livestock waste to fuel, though still in their infancy, could be the new alchemy Albert Straus's basic philosophy has always been that when life serves you a load of manure, you turn it into something good. Like, well, electricity.

Here's a very workable idea for all those activist eco-whackos perpetually causing problems around the county: Shovel it! That's right. A great new opportunity has opened up that would allow the eco-whackos to be both gainfully employed AND do something significant to help the environment. What's not for them to like here, eh? It's a very simple no-brainer. All they have to do is shovel it. Because, by shoveling it, they will be cleaning the land, helping clean the air we breath and aiding in the production of an important product. Plus, they can probably earn a living wage from...
