A man who pleaded guilty in the 2014 sexual assault of a 91-year-old woman in Tempe and several other crimes has been sentenced to 14 years in prison followed by 16 years of probation. Ekwunzie Job Owen Jr. was sentenced Monday by a Maricopa County Superior Court judge. Owen pleaded guilty March 11 to sexual assault, kidnapping and three counts of public sexual indecency.

A Marine veteran standing guard outside an Armed Forces Recruiting Center has been told he is no longer welcome and ordered off the property. Undercover video of a high-ranking Planned Parenthood official casually discussing the graphic dismemberment of the unborn rocked the abortion debate last week, and the head of the group behind the video says there’s much more to come.
