DAVIE, Fla. -- Police have jailed the father of a 3-year-old boy who allegedly battered a man his son accused of molestation.Now, 27-year-old Manuel Vega and an alleged accomplice could receive a much stiffer sentence than the man police say they attacked.Thirty-eight-year-old Luke Petruschke had to be placed in a medically induced coma after the weekend attack. Police say Vega and 43-year-old Krish Carter slammed the man with concrete blocks, punched and kicked him.The two were being held without bond on attempted murder charges.
