A Pajaro Valley High School teacher was arrested Wednesday by Watsonville police on suspicion of sexual intercourse with a student and providing him alcohol, officers said Thursday. Tanya Thienngern, 37, surrendered to police a day after an arrest warrant was issued. Since May 10, Watsonville police have been investigating claims that she was involved in a sexual relationship with a 17-year-old male student.
