An MSNBC panel exploded on Republicans Friday, with guest Donny Deutsch calling President Donald Trump a "dictator" and calling for a revolution. ... "Guess what? A year from now this doesn't change, maybe this table is in trouble we keep talking like this," he said. "I'm not being dramatic. This is what's happening, kids. I mean, and this guy is winning. This wacky, orange, poofy-haired guy is winning this game and we cannot depend on the Congress anymore. And if Rosenstein is fired, there needs to be people in the streets because it's getting in scary territory, kids."

On her 12 p.m. ET hour show on Wednesday, MSNBC anchor Andrea Mitchell was worried that the clear Democratic affiliation and left-wing activism of the shooter who attacked members of Congress was going to be “swept up” in coverage of the violence and exploited by “partisans.” She acknowledged that alleged shooter James T. Hodgkinson “was a volunteer in [Bernie] Sanders’ campaign” and that “within his mental condition, there was, at least he felt, some sort of political motivation, as horrible as that is to even address.” Correspondent Garrett Haake – reporting from the scene of the attack in Alexandria, Virginia...

There are still 10 months to go in 2015, but Mike Barnicle is a strong frontrunner for Clumsiest Comment of the Year. In a Morning Joe segment today on ISIS outrages, and shortly after mentioning the atrocity in which ISIS burned dozens of people to death in Iraq, Barnicle said that the complexity of dealing with ISIS makes "you want to set your hair on fire." A book some years ago called The Dance of Anger was an exploration of dysfunctional intimate relationships. The so-called "mainstream" media ought to read it, with Sarah Palin in mind. It's comical to watch them stalk Palin and then blame her for it all. CNN's John King recently staked out the Gettysburg battlefield at night and complained that Palin wasn't there. MSNBC's Andrea Mitchell noted that a Palin appearance in a biker event proved she was "once again showing that she sure knows how to seize the political spotlight." Irony of ironies, Mitchell, of course, chose to shine that spotlight...

Different host, same liberal bias . . . Subbing for Ed Schultz on MSNBC this evening, Cenk Ugyur suggested that the roughly 70% of Americans who oppose the Ground Zero mosque are "ignorant." Ugyur was debating the mosque matter with Republican strategist and former Newt staffer David Winston. Winston suggested that the people behind the mosque could, in light of the overwhelming oppposition of Americans to the plan, show sensitivity by agreeing to site it elsewhere. That provoked Cenk's snide insult, which, as you'll see, actually revealed his own lack of knowledge on the subject . . . View video...
