Reacting to the shooting of a Black man by a white Kenosha, Wisconsin, cop, a tearful Doc Rivers, the Black NBA Los Angeles Clippers Coach, held a postgame press conference. Rivers said: "All you hear is Donald Trump and all of them talking about fear. We're the ones getting killed. We're the ones getting shot. We're the ones that were denied to live in certain communities. We've been hung. We've been shot. And all you do is keep hearing about fear. It's amazing why we keep loving this country, and this country does not love us back. It's really so...

The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) charged a company cofounded by Paul Pelosi Jr. with fraud on Wednesday after learning that two convicted criminals were running the business. Paul Pelosi Jr., the son of House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D., Calif.), was the president and chief operating officer of Natural Blue Resources Inc., an investment company he cofounded that focuses on “environmentally-friendly” ventures. The SEC charged four individuals with fraud, including former New Mexico Gov. Toney Anaya, and suspended trading in the company’s stock. Pelosi owned over 10 million shares in the company in 2009

If harmless and law-abiding Denmark can earn the ire of the Muslim world, can Canada be far behind? It tilted to the right, with an election that saw Tory leader Stephen Harper sworn in on Monday as the country’s 22nd prime minister at the head of a minority government. In a four-way party split, Mr Harper has no allies on the right and only foes to the left. In addition, his party is a grouping of some who would be considered to the left of Labour here and others who would prefer Peter Dunne’s brand of centrism. But future developments...

But I would say that, you know, we started this year thinking and worrying about the risk of deflation, which is always a risk after a bubble burst like we had, but I think this has been one of the best crafted combination of monetary and fiscal stimulus packages I've ever seen. And the market really sensed that turn back in March.

When I tune in the NBR, I expect an unbiased look at business and the markets, particularly since my tax dollars help support PBS. However, I am not stupid, realizing that PBS is dominated by leftist ideology. I further realize you must appear to maintain step with the left or you may lose your slot on PBS. But do you have to be so obviously left-leaning? Your bias toward President Bush's stimulus plan this week has been far too obvious. And tonights commentary opposing the President's dividend tax plan was remarkably biased, with no opposing opinion whatsoever. Not one mention...
