    BUFFALO, N.Y. A new poll shows former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani beating Senator Hillary Clinton if the 2008 presidential election were held today. The nationwide poll was conducted by Canisius College. It surveyed 455 Americans over 18 Sunday through Tuesday. The poll showed the Republican former mayor beating the Democratic senator 54 to 38 percent in a hypothetical battle.
